"I wonder if this is how I ended up in Quantumtale," Chronos said out loud. "It would make sense seeing that I'm in another Multiverse entirely."

Chronos was relaxing on his personal stargazing spot with his brothers when Inkblot showed up. Still not used to seeing the counterpart of Stain, Chronos panicked and made a portal to De-void and shoved his brothers through. With the flashbacks of the ambush blurring his vision, Chronos jumped off the satellite. However, he wasn't looking where he was going and fell into the Void beneath Outertale.

Chronos felt pain, but it didn't phase him so much. It didn't take long for him to pass out. When he woke up, Chronos found himself in a park laying next to a tree. It was very early in the morning as the sun hasn't risen yet, so Chronos checked the codes. He found it funny that ship children were caretakers and the originals were kids. It put his mind at ease seeing if he met the counterparts of his tormentors he wouldn't need to panic.

He thought about his brothers, and opened a window to his De-void. Looking in, his four brothers were fine and playing together. He was glad that they would take care of each other while he was gone. He knew the oldest could handle any problems if they were to rise.

Chronos was lost in thought until he felt the warm rays of sunlight. He looked up and saw the sun begin to rise. Chronos decided to watch the sunrise, seeing that no one would be coming around anytime soon. This was a sunrise he's never seen before.

The sky was a beautiful gradient of purple, blue, orange, and yellow. There were scattered clouds all around the sky except near the horizon. The horizon looked to be red where the sun touched it. Where the sunlight shined it made everything look bright and warm.

Chronos sat there until the sun was well above the horizon and there were some people walking around the park. Chronos got up and decided to walk around the city. It wasn't anything special since it was similar to the city above the Underground.

As he was looking around, Chronos accidentally bumped into someone. Looking up, Chronos saw that he bumped into a female cat monster.

"Well hello there, little guy," the cat monster greeted. "What are you doing out here? Shouldn't you be in daycare? Oh! You can come to my daycare!"

As the cat monster reached down to pick him up, Chronos panicked. He Time Freezed the cat monster in place and ran the opposite direction. The cat monster was yelling for him to stop, but he kept going. Right as he turned the corner, he bumped into someone else and fell down.

"Woah, hey there little guy. Why the rush?"

Looking up, Chronos was met with one of the ship children caretakers. Chronos didn't say anything as he heard running coming his direction. Chronos got up and hid behind the dark boned skeleton's legs as the cat monster came up to them.

"There you are kid! There wasn't a need to run from me. I was just going to take you to my daycare. A kid like you shouldn't be running around all alone."

Just as the cat monster started to reach for him, Chronos held the other skeleton's leg tightly. He didn't like the vibe the cat monster gave off. Even after calming down as he watched the sunrise, Chronos was still panicked from his encounter with Inkblot.

Before the cat monster picked him up, the skeleton picked him up and held him close.

"Spring stop," the ship child caretaker said. "You're scaring the little guy. I'll take care of him. You should go back to your daycare. I'm sure you have a busy day taking care of your kids."

"Alright fine," Spring said as she walked away. "I'll see you around Gradient. Oh! I should tell you that I have no idea who the kid's parents are. I just saw him walking around this morning on his own. Whoever his parents are, are bad if they let him wander on his own. See ya!"
