I decided to take my friend Jade with me to look for him because I wasn't just going to leave him out there. I need to know if he's ok. So it began. We started walking around kicking the leaves. We looked everywhere for him but there was no sign of him anywhere. We went deeper into the woods to see if he was further in maybe he didn't hear us when we yelled for him. Maybe we were to far away. A while later I heard a noise jade started to run back. I stayed I wanted to know what it was. I started walking further and further. When finally I saw something that changed my life forever. It started with blood and led to the remains of my best friend Joel. I screamed for my friends to come. They all came running thinking I was in trouble. They saw what had happened and were silent. They couldn't speak. None of us talked for days. It was to much for us all to take in. But I knew we couldn't just stay there we had to move or it could happen to us too.
