the only child of inventor maurice. belle was daddy's little girl and every since she was young she would put up with her father's crazy inventions. she grew up humbly in a small town, her father wasn't the richest but always gave belle everything he could. at a young age, belle loved to read, she would read books about adventure and hoped she could have on of her own someday. growing up with a male wasn't as difficult as she thought it'd be, her father was never uncomfortable with any feminine questions belle came up with. belle has never asked about her mother because her father is enough for her.

belle would tend to shelter herself in her books because she knew she could easily get lost in reading. her room is so filled with books that she had to donate some clothes so she would have more book space. people tend to bother because she doesn't carry a phone around with her at all times, instead she carried a book so in her free time she can read. when she was in highschool, she was pursed by a guy who basically loved her, but he tended to put her down because she wasn't 'modern' and wouldn't date him although he insisted so much. belle has an amazing heart, and is a giver, but she knows not to let anyone step all over her.
