Ashlyn and Jeff went on many missions together, as rude as Jeff can be, he has a soft spot for her, as a friend, of course. He's very protective of Lulu because he loves her, but he's protective of Ashlyn because him and her are friends and care about each other, he'll make sure that Ashlyn doesn't get hurt, as well as Lulu. She doesn't see of him as anything more but a friend, the person she loves and wants to date is Slenderman, which probably will never happen, but she's very happy that she's friends with Jeff, despite how mean he can be to other people, she also has a soft spot for him. They're nothing more than just friends.
