"Hey Mariano" I say dryly. " don't sound too excited" he said sarcastically we stared at each other for a good 30 seconds until I finally said "well I have to go bye" " wait what class do you have I can walk you" he said. " English" I said "cool I have that too" he said kind of excited. Just my luck.
It turns out that I have every class with mar like all of them. " good morning class out teacher says" "good morning" groaned the class. "It appears that we have a new student, do you mind introducing yourself" he said looking at me " my name is Leslie and I moved here from California" I said kinda annoyed "I didn't know everyone from California dressed like hoes" said this girl in the front of the class she gonna be a problem I know it " that is uncalled for ms. Cooper" "well Leslie you can sit by Zion over there" he points to a boy in the back of the class. "Hey I'm Zion" he says "hi I'm-" "I know Leslie" he says while cutting me off. "Yep, so honest opinion how good or bad is this school" I say genuinely curious "everything about this school is ass , the people, the teachers, everything" he says bluntly. "Damn" " oh, what's your number he says" after me and Zion exchange numbers we follow each other on all socials. We find out that we have the rest of the day together this is starting to get weird.
Lunch
I meet up with davon at lunch but then he tells me he's gonna go hang out with his friends on the football team. Me and madi say Zion at a table with somebody else so we sat with them " hey" I said " hey, Leslie this is jahmir" Zion says "Zion this is madi" I say "this school shit is boring y'all wanna skip the rest of the day i say" " I thought you was one of them good girls that never do nothing" jahmir said kinda shocked " yeah Leslie when did you get like this when I left you was the good gurl that followed rules and called everyone mr and mrs" said madi. " nope not anymore that bitch been dead" I say "so y'all in?" "Yea" said Zion and jahmir. "No sorry I'm not really like that" said madi hmm she more boring than I remember "ok we'll see you later " I say.
While me Zion and jahmir were walking out the school I feel somebody grab me by my arm it was Mariano. " where you going mammas" he said in his sexy voice i know I ain't- "we ditching so...bye" I say in a hurry. "Wait" he says "Zion and jahmir were waiting for me so..." I say tryna leave "can I come" he asks no you may not sir "sure meet me in my car it's the black mustang" "alright" why the hell did I say he could come I don't even know him what if he try to murder me. When I get to the parking lot jahmir said "finally bitch what took you so long" "Mariano ass practically begged me if he could come" I said starting the car " I don't think only Mariano is coming" Zion says looking out the window when I turn my head I see Mariano and 5 other boys. "Oh hell naw" I say.
