"Hey, keiji. Wakey wakey, babe. Time for breakfast" Kotaro slowly caressed his husband's cheeks. Kotaro knows how much crying he did last night, it breaks him to see his soulmate like this. Blaming himself for the miscarriage.

"Come on, love. Let's get up and eat, hm?" Kotaro held his hand out for Keiji to hold. Hesitantly, he took his hand and let the taller lead them to the kitchen. Kotaro smiled at him and prepared the plates.

"Uh i can't cook much but you stay right here, and i'll make some bacon and eggs" The spiky hair man sat his lover on the seat near the kitchen counter. Keiji, stood in awe over the owl like Kotaro making his and himself breakfast. A little sob broke, as he remembered his miscarriages and how he felt guilty for not giving Kotaro a family like he dreamed.

Clearly, Kotaro heard him sob and couldn't do much but look out on the eggs and stifled a cry himself. After serving the food and saying thanks. Kotaro leaned in and planted a kiss on Keiji's forehead. "Babe, don't cry anymore, please. It isn't anyone's fault that this happened. No matter what, i'll always love you." He said voice almost breaking.  He didn't know what to do anymore so he just ate and saw Keiji follow suit.

Not long after, Kotaro saw his husband in the living room on the sofa, a cherub locket in his hands. "Keiji" he softly called. "Oh, Kotaro" Keiji smiled to him. The taller couldn't help but to barge and give his husband a tight hug. Keiji just melted and sobbed harder in his chest. The spiky haired didn't know what else to do so he just kissed Keiji as much as he could, saying "it's okay, it's okay" hoping, things will turn okay.

A few months passed, everything was starting to become normal again. Kotaro went to practice again, Kageyama and Kuroo grinning, welcoming back the nation's best wing spiker. Keiji back to his clinic with patients to treat. Though of course, there's a hole in their hearts, a burning desire to own a family, to have a child.

At practice, after hitting a few tosses from Kageyama and spiking them straight into Kuroo's faces, Kuroo asked Kageyama. "Oi Tobio, up for a drink and some ramen tonight. Heard that your good ol' Karasuno teammates are here."

Kageyama nodded "Yeah sure, Kenma told me Shoyo's been rambling around about it. Are you coming too, Bo?" the tall setter asked his teammate.

Kuroo elbowed his bestfriend and smirked. "Come on bo, it's gonna be like good old times. Tsukki misses Akaashi and i haven't messed around with you for a long time. What do you say? Aren't ya up for a good reunion." The bedhair man nudged his bestfriend.

"Yeah sure i guess, it'd be good for Keiji to meet up with some friends" He smiled

Later in the evening when he went home. His husband was watching tv, soft laughter coming from the living room.

"Keijiii, i'm home" Kotaro called out, while hanging his jacket on the coat rack.

"Welcome back, Kotaro" the younger made his way to his husband and hugged him tight. He really missed him.

"Kuroo and a bunch of our old friends are going for ramen and drinks tonight, Karasuno's old team are also coming. D'you wanna go? If you don't then we can stay in" Kotaro said, hope in his voice heard.

"It would be bad to stand Kenma-san and Tsukishima-san up, hmm so let's go" Keiji beamed at him, his hands intertwining with his. Kotaro just couldn't help but lean in for a kiss.
