After the tiring search for a place to stay, luckily they found this church, the St. Vincent. It was a good thing the church had an oversized roof, in which people can stay under it. It served as a tree for them two. They rushed there and rested first for about minutes. They were so exhausted at that time. The pouring rain's wet collided with their sweat.

Finally, the rain slowly stopped. There was a dead air. A moment of silence before they started conversing messages to each other. But the silence broke when Elkein asked Dalen.

Elkein: Bloody hell, why were you there? Are you out of your mind?

Dalen: Why don't you answer that question first?

Elkein: Who asked first, eh?

Dalen: Okay then, I was visiting my grandfather who passed away less than a decade ago. If you're wondering why I went there at this time, it's because I don't want someone to see me crying over a grave with his name on it.

Elkein: Ohhh. I'm sorry...

Dalen: It's okay.

...............

Dalen: Hey look, there's another church across the corner, I think it's better than this one. There's more space and it looks safer, and also there's people, we should go there.

As she was about to go, Elkein held her hand firmly and shouted.

Elkein: Wait! We don't know those people, we can't just go there. In fact, it's already fine here, it's quite warm.

Dalen wasn't convinced with his words, yet she forcedly took away her hand from him, and indeed it separated but Elkein was fast enough to grab her again and hugged her so tight he didn't want to let go. He placed his head above hers. Elkein told her that one day they'd be on the same spot, standing. Doing the same thing. Maybe five, or ten years from now. He doesn't know.

Dalen felt nothing but butterflies. You could see on her rosy cheeks that she felt the warmest hug she never had, ever since her grandfather passed away. When their faces were so close, they haven't spoken any word. At all. It was pure awkwardness and Elkein wanted it to end, so he suddenly asked.

Elkein: You hungry? It's already quarter to 4 in the morning. Wanna grab some food? I think a cafe is just here around the corner. My treat.
