The Day I Met Him

Getting there

I woke up at like 10am that day to my mom yelling at me "You're gonna be late!" Then I remembered what I was doing. I was meeting THE Waud twins. I jumped up and put the outfit on I had picked out. I go downstairs and my mom had my dad pick up McDonald's for breakfast. I sat down to eat but she rushed me out the door so I brought it with me. She bagged me to put my knee brace on since I had popped it backwards at a gymnastics competition a couple weeks prior. I really didn't want to wear it because I felt big boy dummy but if I didn't she wouldn't let me go. I dreadfully go back to my room and grab it then we were off. I struggled to eat my pancakes because in my down they don't do the roads for shit🤣 We started out drive from Ashtabula to Pittsburgh. I've been to Pittsburgh before so we knew our way around and where to go to get to the cafe. It took 4-5 hours amid driving and constant arguing from my siblings about one sleeping on the others shoulder. I fell asleep against the door and waited. I woke up maybe 10 minutes away from the parking lot and had all the energy in the world. We figured out how to park and made our way down the street to the cafe. We went to the front door to see a sign that said the entrance to the meet and greet was around back so we went to the back. I was waiting to meet up with one of my friends there who I had talked to over Instagram. We first sat down in an outdoor eating area to eat and there was a window behind me. I thought the twins were looking at me for some reason so I tried not to make a fool of myself and didn't turn around. We waited over an hour for the food then just canceled the order because the meet and greet was about to start. We got in line behind surprisingly the few girls that were in line. After waiting for awhile I see my friend walking up. We go wide eye and she runs to hug me. I hug her back and we stood there for a little bit. She starts asking me how I was and I said good then asked the same. We then start talking about how excited we were and which twin we were excited to see. I was excited to see Jason because I was in his lane. They start letting people in right at 2:00. Me and Bella were squirming along with her friend that she brought who I also became friends with. The line slowly started to move and people were pulling out there phones to get their ticket scanned. It was finally my turn and we started to walk in. I got inside and dropped•my•jaw. This place was amazing it was old rock themed and even had records and awards from the singers. I noticed Elvis Presley and Freddie Mercury immediately. As I was standing there was a higher level of ground next to me that I'd have to jump to look over. There were booths on it to sit at. The stage had a ramp going up to it and if you were to go up the ramp you could turn right and go sit at the booths or turn right and go in the stage. Someone over the speakers yelled for us to countdown until they let the boys out. We all counted down from 10 and I was all bubbly and jumpy. I didn't know where they were going to come from but once they started running from a room next to the bar I watched in awe. I looked at Jason who led the line then watched the rest. I looked at Joe as he ran out and we kicked eye contact as his smiled went to a more wide-eyed shocked look. He looked back forward and they started taking the pictures. I jumped over the crowd of people with my 5"3 ass🤣 As I jumped I looked at Joe again who noticed me and I quickly stopped jumping and looked around my parents in front of me and seen him smiling. I stood in line and finally started getting on the ramp. There were workers going down half of the ramp to tell us to stay on one side. I stayed in line some others got yelled at for getting out. I waited so patiently and finally there was only one person left in front of me. I looked at Bella as the people in front of us were leaving the stage then turned back around to see their mom asking me what my name was. Mama Waud- was right in front of my very eyes- my siblings told her their name then I told her mine was Natalie. I looked to my right from her  feeling something watching me. There I seen Joe staring at me. I didn't know how to react so I just stood and looked away. My sister immediately went to the side and didn't interact with anyone😂 while my brother went and started talking to Tyler Latarte. I walked forward and hugged Brenden Latarte. As I looked over his shoulder I seen Joe with wide eyes looking kinda pissed. Brenden let go and walked to my sister to give her a hug. Joe's face immediately went from pissed to looking me in the eyes then he smiled. He threw his arms over my shoulders and back as he stepped forward bringing my feet between his and leaving no space between our bodies. He hugged me so tight and got so close I thought I was going to fall backwards and not be able to catch myself because I couldn't bend my leg. Stupid knee brace who tf invented those. Anyway I told Joe, "You're a lot taller than I thought" He squeezed me tighter and asked me in reply, "I'm taller?" As he kept a smile plastered across his face. Their mom told us to let go and stop flirting so we could take pictures😂 Joe squeezed me one more time then wrapped his arm around me for the pictures. We kept making jokes to each other and eventually laughed in a picture as my mom scolded us. It was like nothing around me was real. I felt like I was switching lanes. I felt like Joe's eyes did something to me. I thought I was falling in love
