I'm a bomb in a cage
Just counting down the breaths
Until I explode
Don't hold on so tight
I was never made to stay
I'm less permanent
Than the seconds that tick away
I'm sick of losing sleep
Too bad misery
Craves company
I'm done running in circles
But if I look in your eyes
I'll know I'll fall apart all over again
Why can't u just let me run away
It hurts to leave
But it hurts to stay
I can't be pinned to the ground
Like a balloon the moment ur grip loosens
I slip away
