Pick your poison they all taste the same
The real killer is the need for bittersweet pain
I’ve already tasted it all
You’ll rise only to fall
You’ll laugh only to cry
You’ll finally live only to die
You didn’t pay for this now did you?
But how can you refuse to begin
When it has already started to pull you in
You feel sick but you are after all infected
With what is the disease of the twisted
A fever that you can’t sweat out
With symptoms you can’t doubt
And there will be no one left to blame
When what makes you strong leaves you drained
But you’ll want and need it all the same
I’ve already tasted it all
You’ll rise only to fall
You’ll laugh only to cry
You’ll finally live only to die
You didn’t pay for this now did you?
