Chapter one: The crazy road ahead

Bookers POV

Me, my mom raven, my best friend / little brother Levi, my twin sister Nia, Nia's best friend Tess, because she goes where ever nia goes, so she's here, taking up all ma leg room and my aunt Chels are all Crammed in to my mom's pretty small car, it only has 5 seats so, since Levi's the smallest he's sitting on tess's lap to her disliking and there fighting about whatever comes to mind. We're heading to a small town in Indiana, called Hawkins. We're going to see a doctor at Hawkins laboratory and department of energy. Maybe they can help me, find away to get my visions fixed, because apparently Hawkins lab is the closest place to go for people with super powers to get help, but who cares any ways and we live in Chicago, that's about a 3 hour long drive I mean come on. Couldn't you have just had a doctor to help me in Chicago, so I could go home after.

Any ways most people would think since me, my mom and my great gramma all have visions, people assume that my twin sister Nia must have them too. Right? But she doesn't, she has never even felt the tingly feeling, you get ever time you have a vision, not even once. My visions, my moms visions and my great gramma's visions are of the near future and they just come at random times, I can't control the at all, Sometimes I also wish I could see the past though Thad be really cool, then I could see why my mom and dad spilt up, when I was little, their still friends but my dad lives in Dallas now, so we don't see him much. If I could see the past I could learn where my power came from and why I have them. All I want is for my visions to go back to normal, cause the vision freezes, then I freeze for a while and can't move. I'm nothing without my visions, I'm nothing, but Sometimes I wish I could be a normal 13 year old kid, like everyone else. Sometimes my visions make no sense or I feel all alone, cause me, my mom and my great gramma are the only ones like this in Chicago, were the only ones who have super powers in Chicago. We're different and sometimes being different is the last thing you wanna be.
