"Tristan chill out, it's not like Corey is gonna be there lurking at every corner. If I go out to this party it's gonna be okay," I said, slipping on some shoes. I wanted to get out tonight, especially after that conversation I had with Josh.

"But Sal, you don't know who's gonna be at this party and you know that I can't go with you," Tristan had been with me nonstop since the fight, scared of what I might do. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed my jacket.

"I'll just ask Grace to come with me, it's no big deal really Tris, I'll be fine," I smiled at him but he only shook his head. He had to hang out with the Hype House and get some photoshoots and press things together.

"I'm driving out tonight and won't be back for a week, are you sure that you don't want to come with me?" He asked for the millionth time since he'd found out about the press opportunity. I nodded and took out my phone to text Grace. He sighed and hugged me, I hugged back after a second. After the fight, I had told Tristan how I felt, how he was like a brother to me and nothing else. He'd accepted it but I could tell that his feelings still lingered.

"Tristan I'm gonna be fine. I'm not a little kid anymore. And plus I have enough to keep me busy with the record deal and that movie gig that I'm trying to score." I looked him in the eyes and finally, he relented, "Okay but you have to call me everyday okay?" I nodded to his request then walked out the door, throwing him a kiss behind me.

I didn't actually text Grace, me and Grace haven't talked since she told me she has a crush on Josh. I don't know why that upset me so much but I basically told her not to talk to me anymore, no one knows though. I called an Uber and made my way to the party alone.

When the Uber lets me out I see that the house is already swarmed with people. People in the front yard, yelling in the house and probably all in the backyard too. For a minute I regret coming, and kind of wish Tristan were here with me. I squeeze my way into the house and scan the crowd for a familiar face. Then I see one, Olivia. I walk over to her and when she sees me her face immediately lifted. She ran towards me, opening her arms to give me a hug, I repaid the gesture.

"Omg Salem! It's been forever, how have you been?" she said and I gave her a tight smile. She looked around as if looking for someone.

"I've been good, what about you? the show is a hit!" I looked around for a means of escape, anyone that I know, a snack table, anything. She called someone over with the wave of her hand, when I turned behind me I saw a face I never thought I'd see again. Bellamy.
