the god damned marinette dupain-cheng
perfect and pretty in every way
lila only really started lying towards adrien when she found out that the, marinette dupain-cheng, liked him
she felt like she needed to be protective of adrien. "that luka guy.." lila thought while grabbing her tray in the cafeteria, hustle and bustle in the cafeteria was really starting to get to her but wasn't just that.
now luka, he was really something, having other girls clamoring around him, it got to her. even more than that brat chloé, that weird kagami girl, and the ever-so clumsy marinette. eating her lunch alone was a daily routine, she liked it, the noise of the cafeteria was enough for her, having other kids asking her about more 'true' stories would be like a trigger for her true colors.
meanwhile at marinette's
bed-ridden and hungry, marinette, soon joined by her friends had a nice lunch
on lunch filled with awkwardness, annoyance, laughter, smiles, and all sorts of odd yet happy feels
"luka, do you mind blurting out a few embarrassing things?" nino said with a questioning face towards the blue-haired boy
"...i guess it wouldn't hurt" luka said, while eating the group started talking about nino practicing hypnosis, nino just wanted to try it out. they all headed for the living room, forming a sorta semi circle with nino in the middle and luka right in front of him.

"hey alya.." marinette whispered to her friend, concerned she would disrupt nino's chant, "hmm?" alya answered facing marinette. "how much longer till school starts again?" marinette said rubbing her neck, "40 minutes, why?" alya said raising an eyebrow, "well we've been here so long, i was just worried that's all" marinette said "oh girl, lunch is 2 hours now, poor school had so many enrollees this year, the cafeteria couldn't serve them all meals in an hour" alya said, shaking her head slightly. marinette and alya went back to facing luka, "who do you like?" nino's question really rung out, "marinette" luka answered, not to marinette's surprise but to everyone else's
"...surprise?.." marinette said when everyone faced her
