Jeremy walked into the pizzeria. Police cars lined up the parking lot. The detective was in the Parts and Service room.
Ten adults that weren't employees or police sat at the dining tables,each crying.
"Hey,Jeremy. I probably should've mentioned this,but if I did,you probably would've left the place before you would've even taken the job. Five kids were kidnapped the day before you took the job,"said the head of security.
Jeremy got a look of concern.
"Are those people there...the parents?"he asked.
"Yes,"said head of security.
The morning guard in front of the room where the old animatronics were locked up. He looked like he was gonna throw up.
"So they found out where the murder occurred?"asked the head of security.
"There was blood in the Parts and Service. Only a bit,about a drop next to the back of the room,"said the detective.
The parents then went up to the head of security.
"Do they have any ideas of who it could be?"one of them asked.
"I'm sorry but no. But would you like to meet the most important people in this case? Daral,Jeremy!"
Jeremy walked over and shook hands with all of the parents. Daral then walked off without a word.
"Well Jeremy watches the pizzeria overnight. Without him we wouldn't of known that who ever it was also messed up the animatronics,saving probably a lot of people."
Jeremy didn't notice how important he was to the business.
"He's also the only one that can look for evidence during the night,"said the head of security while winking at Jeremy.
Jeremy got what he was staying.
"Oh,please help our kids,"said a parent.
"I promise, I will do my best,even when I'm in danger,"said Jeremy without thinking.
"Thank you,"said a parent through tears.
Jeremy sat at a table and thought. Then the head of security walked over.
"I'm not gonna lie,your new position as night detective will be dangerous. We're gonna give you equipment and the mask and flashlight."
Jeremy sat and thought.
"I gave those people my work with out even thinking,"said Jeremy.
"Jeremy,you're the bravest kid I've ever met. You have dealt with the animatronics with out quitting in fear,plus the dangers of those damned older animatronics."
Jeremy looked up and noticed something.
"Keep an eye on the night guard. He has been acting weird,"said Jeremy.
"Alrighty then,"said the head of security.
