CHAPTER - 2

Another day....
Another shop....
Another encounter....

Yn was in another store today...
Again on her another mission

Again sneaking in and stealing some food for her to eat.

But this time some unexpected thing happen.

She was stuffing her bag with food when someone grabbed her hand.

She slowly looked behind her to find a boy. Her eyes were big.

??? : You again?

He said and looked at her.

She got confused so she asked.

Yn : Do i know you...?

??? : Wahh you really forget people easily.

He said amuzed.

??? : Im the one who helped you the other day. Remember something...?

She was confused but then she remebered the incident happened some days ago.

Yn : Ohh yeah!! Now i remeber, your name's Taehyung right. So hey new buddy whatsup?

Taehyung : That shouldnt be the topic for now, the real question is what are YOU doing here?

He said pointing towards the bag.

Yn : Oh this... hehe you know doing my adventure.

She said nervously laughing.

Taehyung : But why... you said it yourself that you're not poor then why are you stealing things when you can buy them?

Yn : I told you already its for fun. Besides, its not like im stealing the whole shop's food why make it a big deal? Just chill.

Taehyung : That maybe happens in other places but you are not doing it here, young missy.

She looked at him with a poker face.

She started taking out the few things she took from her bag and placed them in the rack.

Yn : Whatever.

She muttered and left the place.

Taehyung : eh, is she angry at me now? She even left the food.

He shook his head in disbelief and took the few things she chose before he interupted her and purchased them.

He went out since his shift was also over at 11 at night and saw her wandering around.

Taehyung : hey thief... take this.

He said and handed her the things.

Yn : nah i dont want this.

Taehyung : take it... im not asking anything in return.

She looked at him suspicious.

Yn : i wont buy you any food.

Taehyung : okay dont... now take these.

Yn shrugged and took the food and started eating it.

Yn : your shift is over?

Taehyung nodded.

Yn : where do you live?

Taehyung : huh!?!

Yn : i mean which direction?

He pointed to his right.

Yn : is someone waiting for you at home?

Taehyung : *confused* no why?

Yn : good, then come with me.

They both started walking the opposite direction he pointed and yn gave him the other packet to eat.

Yn : you must be hungry since your shift just ended.

Taehyung : thanks.

He smiled lightly and they both walked side by side, not saying anything. Then he broke the silence.

Taehyung : btw, you didnt told me your name the other day and said you'll tell me if we meet other time.

Yn : right, my name's yn, Jung yn.

He nodded and she smiled.

Yn : where is your family?

She asked, lifting her eyebrows curiously.

Taehyung : they live in my hometown, Daegu. I came here to study, and i do this part time for the fee and ofcourse to eat.

She nodded.

Taehyung : you tell me... why do you wander around always in the night when you know you might get in trouble?

Yn : ah that... i just... *murmurs* huh, whats the point in lying anyways. I work night shift at a place nearby so i wander around for some time before going to work.

Taehyung : nigh shift !?!

He asked shocked.

Yn : *shrug* yeah.

Taehyung : what do you do before that?

Yn : i have many works to take care of.

Taehyung : oh... i mean... dont you go to college or something in the morning... when do you sleep?

Yn smiled and looked at him and said.

Yn : no i dont go to college and sleep is not my cup of tea, so 3-4 hours of sleep is enough for me.

Taehyung : *disbelief* what the--? Are you even a human? When does your shift ends?

Yn : um.. 5 am in the morning... i guess.

Taehyung : and what you do after that.

Yn : Taehyung you ask so many questions, whats the point even?

Taehyung : the point is you need to take care of yourself yn, and working for hours and sleeping for only 3-4 hours is not good for you.

Yn : you seem to care more for someone who you met only 2 times.

She said with a smile, looking in the front.

Taehyung went silent for a moment.

Taehyung : dont change the topic yn... you're one complicated human.

Yn : im not complicated... you just need to spend sometime and patience to completely understand me. You should go home now, its pretty late... sorry for dragging you here.

Taehyung : you have to say it more often now... you know 'sorry' because this is going to be one of my daily things now.

Yn : then i take my sorry back because considering your words, i didnt practically dragged you here. You came here on your own.

Taehyung : yeah, so i'll go now or you'll be late for your work. Bye.

Yn : bye.

They smiled at eachother and he jogged his way to his house.

She stood there, watching his back disappearing in the light of stars.
