"It's so rare to get one of you alive," the villain murmured. "And such a lovely one too."

They swallowed, closing their eyes at the gentle brush of fingers against their cheek.

"Don't worry," the villain said. "I don't want to hurt you, I wouldn't dream of it."

"I can't say I share the sentiment," they bit out. "After everything you've done."
