Simran's POV
I clutched my slightly grown stomach smiling happily to myself. It all seemed so surreal. It felt like yesterday I was a teen crushing over a cricketer, watching his matches on repeat and today I'm becoming the mother of his child.
Shubman Gill the one who made me feel like the best woman on earth.

Simran drifted off into her flashback. It all started during the 2019 IPL which by far was the best season according to her.
It was KKR vs Rajasthan Royals. (completely imagining this) Simran had come to support her beloved KKR and was naturally on the tip of her toes.
She had come with her cousin Shivakansha (who was also her bestie) who had managed to get VIP tickets and that managed to double her excitement.
She tried to squirm out of Shivakansha how she managed to get VIP tickets but all she said was "just wait till the end of the match!"
She badly hoped that Shubman would play well today, he really was the reason that her obsession for cricket went up.
"You know Shivi all I really want is for KKR to lift the cup this year." Simran said in the midst of the match gazing at the field dreamily.
"And may I ask why?" Shivi questioned back.
"They're a team filled with talent and deserve to win the cup." Simran replied.
"Aaah ok sure, it definitely doesn't have anything to do with Shubman being in the team does it." Shivi teased.
"Ohh shut up Shivi," Simran cried while trying to hide her blush.
"Oooh I didn't know my Simi blushes too," Shivakansha teased again only to be given a glare by Simran which made her immediately shut up.
The match was eventually over with KKR winning which was no surprise considering the deadly form their players were in.
The cousins jumped with joy and moreover Shubman had hit the winning six leaving Simran beaming with joy.
"Ok Simi I told you that you'd find out how we got VIP tickets at the end of the match right so come I'll show you how," Shivi said to a jumping Simran
"Ok but make it quick. I've got to sneak back into the house too. Mumma doesn't know that I'm out watching a match." Simran cried.
"Ok come!" Kritika cried while grabbing Simran's arm and running off as if she was to find someone.
They eventually ran off to a place where no one was exactly meant to be unless you were meeting someone in the team.
"Shivi where are we?" an impatient Simran shouted.
"Shush we can't let anyone spot us here," Shivi whispered and took a quick peek at her phone and all of a sudden she said "Close your eyes!"
"Huh?" Simran cried confused.
"Just do what I say!"
Simran obeyed completely bewildered as to what got into her cousin's brain.
She heard footsteps approach and then Shivi saying "open your eyes!"
Simran opened her eyes only to be given the biggest shock of her life. The one and only Shubman Gill standing infront of her giving out his million dollar smile.
