Chapter 7

Lukes POV

when my angel fell asleep, i quietly and smoothly got out of bed. I needed to have a word with my father about the abuse of my mate. Tori meant more to me than anyone else, even my life itself. I have loved her since we were kids.

*FLASHBACK*

"T!" I yelled, trying to get the attention of my best friend, she seemed lost in thought and startled when i called out to her. SHe looked gorgous tonight, under the ull moon. I had liked her and planned on asking her out for a while now, ever since our meetings became secret and our place was, well, our place, i quickly fell for he. Tori has black hair and bright blue-green eyes that draw you in, she was always tall and slim, but beautiful all the same to me.

"Luke!" i was pulled out of my thoughts by her melodious voice and a hand snapping in my face. She had amusement dancing in her eyes, which were highlighted by the moon. The crystal blue in her eyes matched that of the pond by us, this is where we have met every night at 8 for the past 3 years. I have loved her for the past 3 years.

*FLASHBACK OVER*

I angrily marched to my dads office, i was fuming now, he had caused harm to my mate and my wolf was dying to rip into him, father or not. I just had to convince him to leave her alone so i could talk to her and work out a plan for us to go away from all this. I had to keep her safe, from my own pack.

TORIS POV( sorry for the swich)

I had fallen asleep peacefully to the sound of Lukes heartbea-wait what?! No, I cant like him, he's my best friend! My wolf grow;ed at me by this point,

"He is our mate!" she growled out. She was furious with me for sayig i didnt like him.

I wont deny the feelings i have for him, i love him, i always have. Since we met at our special place. I will confront him about it tomorrow, but for now, i will sleep peacefully. The last thing i heard before i fell into a peaceful sleep was Lukes beautiful voiice saying four little words that made me melt."I love you T."
