Title: courting gift

It was December fifth but gajeel couldn't care less about the date. He was currently lounging on his bed with his face in his hands trying to figure out what to get levy for Christmas and how to confess his...feelings. He cringed at the thought, he absolutely hated sappy thoughts like that. Panther lily suggested he get her lingerie but just the meer thought of that could make him die hard. He opted on searching for something small and pretty like her, like a necklace maybe. With that in mind he grabbed his wallet and exceed on his way out the door.
"Honestly gajeel, you're fretting way too much over this..."
"I can't find anything." He groaned in the middle of the jewelry store.
"Okay now thick headed dragon slayer, levy is very simple to buy for, she doesn't need something extravagant." The cat stated as he browsed through the shiny accessories.
"This one!" Gajeel shouted with triumph, turning a few heads in the store.
"What did you find?" The exceed made his way over to his friend in the bracelets section.
"This" he set down a very sparkly looking charm bracelet.
"Geez how much is that? Are those diamonds?"
"It's 10,000 jewel, but it'll be worth it."
"Gajeel that's almost as much as a wedding ring." He tried to reason.
"I shall buy it."
"You're an imbecile..."
He rubbed his temple meanwhile somewhere else in the lovely town of magnolia a lovely brown eyed bookworm began to make a kettle full of earl grey tea for two.
"Soooooo you and gajeel huh?" Mira teased levy relentlessly.
"Oh please, that guy wouldn't know I liked him even if I taped it in words to his forehead." The woman rolled her eyes and left the kettle to continue to pin up garlands around her fireplace banister.
"You could at least try to hint it." Mira chuckled as she flicked a little bell hanging off of the tree.
"And you could at least try to help me pin these damn things up!"
"Yeah yeah." She waved her hand but helped anyway.
"How the heck do I flirt? I mean, I'm not even sure if he knows a woman is something other than a guy with balloons on their chests." Levy snorted, but she did have a point.
"Just I dunno, touch more while you're talking with him."
Mira smiled and pinned up the last piece of garland.
"That...is creepy as hell."
"Oh pfft, I'm not saying you should cling onto his arm like ahem, someone we know, I'm just saying you should like, link pinkies or something, maybe brush shoulders." She climbed down from the stool.
"I think I can do that...yeah, thanks Mira."
"Anytim- what's that sound?" She says referring to the extremely high pitched whistling.
"My tea!"

Ahn~ I forgot to update yesterday, I'm a bad fanfic writer for not even abiding by the rules of my own challenge. Lmao, also I think chapter six might be in first person pov.
