"woah how?!?"
"dads friends with him"
"that's so cool Landon"
"i know right well i gotta go show Cam" he runs away and Corbyn comes over to me
"how did you get that signed"
"i know my people"
"jonah?"
"yeah"
"so are we gonna tell him tonight"
"i'm scared to"
"why?"
"when we were in the car he just kept saying how i'm the best dad ever and how he loves me so much and he's so happy we're together and that we had him. i'm worried he won't think of me the same way"
"aw. well corbyn think about it this way, you've been with him from the absolute beginning. just telling him this one fact won't change anything. he may be shocked and confused but it doesn't mean that he won't love you. i agree with him you are the best dad ever and just by you not being his biological dad won't change that. worst case scenario is he wants to spend some more time with Daniel, which i honestly expect. it won't make him think any less of you"
"i guess. should we tell him with luna"
"no she'll make fun of him"
"yeah true. umm can we tell him now"
"whenever you want it's up to you."
"i wanna tell him now"
"okay i'll go get him" i kiss corbyn and walk up to Landons room
i knock on his door and he tells me to come in
"hey me and dad want to talk to you about something"
"okay i'll be down in a minute i just have to put this away"
i walk away and sit on the couch with corbyn
"he'll be down soon"
"i'm so scared"
"baby don't worry" i grab his hand and Landon comes down the stairs sitting down
"soooooo what did you guys have to tell me"
"okay so basically as you know you and your sister don't really look alike despite being twins"
"yeah"
"okay well who do you think you look A LOT like"
"hmm i'd say Uncle Dani"
"right so um first we both love you so so much okay" i say
"mhm"
"well one night i went to a party and your dad wasn't able to go. when i was at the party i drank a lot and got very drunk and well me and your uncle kinda did some things with each other. then a few weeks later i did some things with your dad and i got pregnant. and turns out a little bit later i was pregnant with twins. and so the twins are obviously you and your sister."
"i'm confused?"
"your uncle.. is really your dad. um your biological father is Daniel"
"wait so you had sex with uncle and got pregnant with me, then had sex with dad and got pregnant with Luna. so my dad is really not my dad and my uncle is my real dad" he clarifies
"yeah i know it's weird...are you mad?" i ask
"no just very confused"
"do you hate me" Corbyn asks sadly
"no i'm not mad at or hate anyone i'm just trying to think"
"can i have a hug?"
"mhm" he walks over to Corbyn and hugs him
"Daniel may be my biological father but you're still my dad. and you're still the best dad in the whole world"
"thank you"
"does Daniel know?"
"yeah he's known since the beginning. he just doesn't know that you know"
"can i tell him"
"of course he's gonna come over tonight and we'll tell you guys all together"
"so can i go upstairs"
"wait one last time are you sure you love me"
"yes dad, and yes i said DAD cause you have been my dad forever and just because you aren't technically it it doesn't matter. i'll probably want to hang out with daniel some times but that doesn't mean i don't love you anymore"

"0f course you know it's kinda cool that people can get pregnant by two different people and it's even cooler that it happened to my mom"
