Forgive Me Because I've Wronged You

"Dey!" Lena walked into the dusty room at the back of the old fugitive camp on the Island.
she saw William sitting on a black leather chair in the back of the room,

"What's going on?!" she shouted and took a few steps l closer,

"Lena... Lena, relax please, take a seat" a voice sounded from the chair.

It was not William Dey.

"Ben Lockwood?" the brunette was confused,

"I wanted to thank you personally for the kryptonite and lenses" he said and gave her a creepy smile,

"What do you mean?" She asked with burning tears in her eyes.

Ben turned on the TV in the back of the room.
The screen turned on and showed countless videos of people being controlled by the technology she has developed,

"What did you do to these people???" the CEO asked furiously,

"These people are now under my command and now that both you and Supergirl are here, they are going to kill every last of these roaches, that infected National City and the entire world!" he smiled with pride.

Lena was horrified. she held the tears before they burst out,
"where is William Dey?" She asked,

"That's an interesting question" Lockwood answered,
"but before I give you the answer-"

Lena didn't hear the rest of the sentence. she escaped outside and ran as fast as she could to the entrance of the island.

"There's no point Mrs. Luthor!" Ben ran after her,
"your boat has been blown up when you first got here, and no one knows where you are! The place is surrounded by my people, you have no escape!"

Lena knew it wasn't true. If Kara was there, as he said, then Alex, J'ohn and everyone else will know where she was.
she was looking around, hoping to find some way to contact them. She could hear Lockwood loading his gun behind her. She didn't have much time.
just one last look before she had to turn around and put her hands in the air....
And there she was,

Kara

William kicked the Kryptonian's stomach and she fell.
The young Luthor remembered the kryptonite she gave him. Kara was powerless.
On this moment, Lena understood why the kryptonian has never told her the truth-
she didn't want her to be involved in on this. She didn't want Lena to see her like that.
She wanted to keep her safe.

Lena felt guilty. So guilty...
That was her best friend out there and she needed her help.

Lena was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard William aggressive push his foot against Supergirl's stomach. Kara cried out.

without thinking twice, the green eyed girl ran to her.

"One more step and I'll put a bullet in your head!" Lockwood shouted.

Lena froze. she looked back and saw a loaded gun, pointed at her back a few meters behind her.
Then she turned her look back at Kara. Surprisingly, the superhero was looking towards her direction probably because she heard Lockwood's scream.
Her ocean eyes locked with Lena. They were red, tired and hurting. As much as the brunette wanted to look back at Lockwood and make sure he didn't get closer, she couldn't let go of those eyes.
Her anger flew away as if it was never even there.
