We both arrived early, not wanting to waste another minute in that boring dorm. We were surprised to see the party was already started, I guess we were misinformed.
"Follow me!" Allison exclaimed grabbing my arm and dragged me into the frat house.
The booming music, strobe lights, and grinding bodies never ceased to amaze me. The party is just as I thought it would be, one of the guys was even on a keg.
Allison seemed to know what she was doing as she dodged the drunken dancers. I felt a bit uncomfortable when we walked down a hall filled with couples making out. Yeah this was definitely a collage party.
Allison tugged me along until we broke off into a almost quiet yet calm area. Not many people were around but most of them by the looks of it were Goth. They were all chatting, drinking what looked to be red wine.
Allison pulled me into a small group of relatively normal looking girls, they all smiled when they saw her but intimately ignored me.
"Everyone! This is Sabrina my roommate" Allison stated wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
"Sup."
"Hey."
"How's it going?"
They all said in slightly monotone voices. I smiled nervously gently taking Allison's arm off my shoulder. Allison didn't seem to notice and began talking to them. I felt as if I was the elephant in the room, so I gave them all a small wave and walked out the door.
Passing the make out hallway and disappeared into an empty room. I let out a sigh of relief sitting on one of the beds and rubbed my eyes. I could still hear the muffled music which shook the ground.. Or that could have been something else. Gross.
I reached for my phone but looked up when I heard the door open and close. I was met by the eyes of a boy, none the less he looked nervous as if he was trying to find the exit. He was pretty tall almost reaching the doorframe, his black hair looked messy. He was handsome, to think of saying that out loud would be the death of me.
"You too?" I asked giving him a playful smile.
"Yeah.. Party's aren't really my thing" He mumbled walking over to one of the beds and collapsed breathlessly.
"You seem pretty tired? What were you doing?" I asked curiously not wanting an awkward silence.
"Running" He replied sitting up. He ran a hand through his messy hair to reveal two brilliant blue eyes that took my breath away.
"I..im Sabrina...." I said with amazment.
"Haha hi Sabrina, Im Dennis."
His laugh was like a sunny day with the warm breeze in the medow. It was almost poetic.
