I breath heavily, I was in this world. It looked like earth but it was different. Things that no man can ever see in life. There was dragons. But one, one dragon who would fly down and stay with me. I would ride it, into the blue sky's. But as the sky's grew dark the dragons would fly away frightened. I was confused cause when I would land from that white dragon. The beautiful creature would fly away, and everything turns into darkness. A King with a huge metal dragon would appear. I saw my dragon get captured, it's squirms around and struggles. And me, I couldn't move. I was stuck. The King laughs before leaving me with the dragons. I yell and scream. But i can't move...
I wake up, light glimmers into my eyes as I slowly open them.
This dream, it happens every day. I've been having it ever since I was little.
"Skylar!" My mom, well not my biological mom, calls for me. Sure she adopted me, but once I got into my teen years she's been working a lot. I guess it's the promotion she got.
I groan and get out of my warm bed. I jog down the stairs to see my mom with two small suit cases on her sides.
"Sweetie,I have a unexpected business trip to go too today, I left 200$ on the counter. Call me if you need anything and uh yeah you know the rules." She smiles.
"How Long will you be gone?" I ask bluntly.
"3-5 days, depends how we do." Karen, my "mom" smiles. I nod and sigh. Her phone buzzes.
"Ok Sky I have to go now. Love you." She kisses my forehead and walks out the door. I close the door and wave my goodbye to her. I sigh and go to the couch, turning on the tv as I sat.It was 7:21am and had an hour and a-half before my first class starts. So why not chill for a while. I watch some sponge bob, yes I know I'ma 16 year old girl watching Sponge bob, but come on, it's a Classic. I look at the clock 8:07am. I jump off the couch and head straight to my room. I didn't bother shower (I did it last night) I just grabbed skinny jeans, and a purple knitted long sleeve shirt. Of course I wouldn't forget my converse and I combed my dirty blonde hair, added some makeup and just ran out the door (with my backpack) like there was no tomorrow.
