Finn's POV
I ran away from jake as fast as I could getting away from his weird game. All of a sudden I bumped into someone. I groan as i fell on the ground landing on my butt. Not cool. I was going to punch the person I just bumped into but when I looked up, red eyes met mine.
Marceline: Hey finn
Marceline said smirking at me. God she's so beautiful.
Me: U-uhhm... H-hi Marceline
I stuttered. Gosh Finn you're such a weirdo. Marceline chuckled shaking her head. I've been crushing on Marceline since I first met her. I don't know but there is something about her that makes my heart race. I've always wanted to ask her out but I don't have the guts to and I worry too much about what would she think of me.
Marceline: So... How have you been?
Marceline spoke snapping me out of my thoughts. Man she's really flawless.
Me: I-i'm great. GREAT! HAH!
God you're embarassing yourself.
Marceline giggled. Her giggle is the most beautiful thing ever.
Me: So... uhmm... do you uhmm... maybe... wanted to ... uhm... watch a uhm... movie with... uhm... ma- me? You know... If you're not busy?
wait! WHAT?! Why the heck did I just ask that? I looked over to Marceline grinning. She walked over to me and crossed her arms.
Marceline: Like a date huh?
Me: yes!
WHAT? Finn what's up with you?!
Marceline: I would love to.
WHAT?! wait what just happened?! are you serious? Am I dreaming?! oh my gosh did I just ask her out?!
Marceline: Well... see you at the movies!
Me: A-alright
Marceline's POV
Oh My Goodness, Finn just asked me out!! I need to look presentable. What should I wear? Princess bubblegum!! I know she could help me.. I grabbed my phone and dialed princess bubblegum's number.
*ringggg...ringgg*
PB: hello?
M: Uhmm... hey princess bubblegum. Can you help me prepare myself? because someone just asked me out and I... uhmm... I don't know what to wear and stuff
PB: OMG... sure I'll be there in 10
M: Alright! See you!
*knock knock*
Me: It's open
PB: Oh my goodness, who asked you out Marceline?
Me: whow take it easy! *laughs* well... uhm
PB: Uhmm whooooo?!
Me Why would you like to know anyways?
PB: beause I'm your best friend. duh!
Me: Fine... I-it's Finn
PB: WHAT?!
Me: What do you mean what?
PB: No. You can't like him. You can't go on a date with him.
WHAT EVEN. Is she serious? What is her problem?
Me: And why is that?
PB: b-because... I like Finn.
