Chapter 1

*Ashley's pov*

One bright morning, i woke up calmly with my usual lazy mood. I slowly get off my bed and open my curtains. I made coffee and took a sip of it while looking outside my balcony. With the strong and calm wind, i began to think about life. Well, its really kinda hard tho after my father died a few weeks ago.

I then went for a quick shower and i were told to went down for a surprise visit. I sat next to my mom at the couch. There in the living room, it was so awkward with some idk-who was there. My mom told me that it was my second cousin. I greeted them politely. Then, my second cousin, was told to hangout with me.

Well, i was completely frozen. Like really. I dont even know her. And now i get to hangout with her. What ifs questions kept popping out of my mind from no where. But i refused to hear them.

We both went to my room. She began to talk. "Umm, long time no talk eh " I looked at her in confused. She seem to be worried. I replied back, " Uhh, do we ever talk to each other? ". She turned her head to me and said " Yea , we did but umm i dont seem you will remember it ". This made me even more confused . She hugged me . I was shocked but I couldn't help but hugged back. I felt calm. She then introduced herself. Her name is Lucy. What a lovely name. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon eating and talking. Then in the evening, she went home. I cried and hugged her for the last time. She told me that we will see each other soon. I can't help but smile.
