"Megumi? You seemed to be in some kind of rush. What happened?"

"EEH!"

Megumi jumped in surprise, only to see their Mama who was standing in front of her. Her head tilted upwards to look at the adult, eyes widened in shock.

"Oh Mama, it was just you." The pink-haired girl sighed, making their caretaker chuckle from seeing the reaction given by the little girl. Megumi then looked around them, wondering where was Hikari already. She was sure that the girl was closely following behind her.

"Is there anything wrong?"The pink-haired girl's thoughts were cut off by the soothing, gentle voice of Mama. This made her have the attention back to the adult. Right, why did not she realize she's talking to the person she has to most aware of?

"Nothing really! I thought I saw a ghost in the room... So I ended up running here... Hehe..." Megumi scratched her head, acting as if she was relieved. She really shouldn't be that careless...

The adult looked at her for a moment before giving out a smile. Her hands reached out the pink-haired girl's face, touching her jaw as Megumi felt fingers touching behind her ears. It was her tracker that was being checked.

"Then, would you help me fix the table?"

"Sure!" Megumi grinned as the caretaker let go of the kid.

Mama stood up as she carefully observed the pink-haired girl who skipped through the room, heading inside the kitchen. She noticed how odd it was for Megumi to be acting all happy without getting anxious around her siblings, especially now that Natasha's gone.

Still watching Megumi from afar, Isabella began the morning prayer as the rest of the children were finally gathered up in the dining hall and are all seated. Helping the younger ones with their food, the adult never took her eyes off away from the pink-haired girl.

What she saw from the kid was rather unexpected. Megumi was enthusiastically eating. Not only that, but she wasn't showing any act of shyness around her siblings. Her big, joyful gestures were unfamiliar compared to her usual timid self.

It was suspicious. Isabella couldn't help but think about what caused Megumi's sudden change of personality. Has she perhaps knew about the secret of this place? She doesn't look like she was hiding something when she talked to her moments ago. Instead, her eyes were brimming with motivation...

Even her older siblings noticed her sudden cheerful atmosphere. They couldn't help but be really happy about it and get along with her even more. It was as if Megumi became a completely different person.

The morning's breakfast ended with a new level of energy filling up the room.

"Megumi! Do you wanna play tag with us?"

The pink-haired girl turned to face little Emma who's looking all giddy. Megumi returned a smile to the kid as she mentally began fangirling, especially when she saw Norman catching up with the other girl.

"Ah, sorry but I wanted to do some drawings today...Hehe..."

"Is that so? Then in that case, can I see your drawings later?" Emma's cute voice rang Megumi's ear. The female was melting from all the adorableness she was seeing. Please save her.

"Emma! Let's go?" Norman called out as he stood beside the orange-haired girl. Megumi watched the two went towards her other siblings who gathered up to play the game, letting out a sigh as her lips formed a small smile.

"Heh, too bad Sam can't meet the three main leads in their chibi form." A chuckle was heard from another person near the pink-haired girl. It was Hikari.
