Images of silences, loneliness and awkwardness, of a change that she dreamt and ended up being her entry to a nightmarish world.
Grey dull days among thugs and cruel smiles, inside a prison made up from pleasure and pain, built up by those she once trusted.
Coldness and Nakedness, a painful hunger that twisted her entrails, while crawling in the mud after the shadow of a needle.
Hatred filled stares, looking down on her. Blows that like blades, that ripped off her the only thing that ever gave meaning to her existence.
In the end, one suffering soul looks into the remains of what once she was. Led by the pain and sadness, the choice has been already made.
Just a little prick...
After that, all the angst, pain and suffering disappeared.
Her consciousness began to drift away, as the world was engulfed into the shadows.
Then she opened her eyes...
"That was quite a wild dream"
That's what she thought while feeling the waves rocking below her feet and the salty smell of the sea played with her nose.A group of young girls was around her, sailing through the waves at breathtaking speed. They were her comrades, with whom she shared the hard knocks of war, knowing that each battle could be their last.
No matter how fierce the challenge that war could throw to them, they would go on thanks to their courage and bravery. They had a purpose... to defend those important to them and the world where they live in.
However even if what she saw was only a mere dream, she still felt a bit shaken by those images.
She closed her eyes for a second. The sun caressing her skin, the wind blowing through her bangs. Those sensations revitalized her spirit and eased her doubts.
It didn't matter if it was a dream or some painful memory locked deep into his mind, it was already in the past, were it couldn't hurt her anymore. Now she needed to be focused on the present because one second of distraction on the battlefield could be fatal for her or her comrades.
One of her companions, a short brown haired petite girl, approached to her with a curious look, probably wondering why she was spacing out like this. She smiled at her, reassuring that everything was fine. Then, they resumed their travel towards their destiny.
There was no place for pain or doubt now. She was not a poor little girl crying in a corner over her terrible destiny, but a warrior fighting for her future.
After that, they resumed their travel, drifting over the over the waves, heading towards their destiny.
The battle awaits.
