Bright flames

I sat on the hardwood floor of my bedroom with jinora meditating. "Ready?"
"Yes" jinora was answered.
Mako came to get us for our big journey. Tenzin, jinora, Mako and I piled on oggi. Asami was working at future indistries and Bolin was working with Varrick on some new movers. Mako sat next to me making my insides feel warm and toasty. We rode until it was dark. "Korra can I a little help here?" He asked a map in his hands and a small beautiful smile. "Sure Mako." I lit a small flame in my hand to create light for him as he looked at the map. He touched my hand moving it to ajust the light, sending jolts of electricity through my whole body. I smiled at him and he chuckled."What?!" I asked not so sure why he was laughing. "Your smile is brighter and warms me more than any flame ever could." His eyes were flickering with an emotion I had seen before, it was the way my father looked at my mother!
