3 - Memories

I sit on the floor as I watched one of the dance club member dances infront of me. As she was dancing, Minghao came sitting beside. "Wait, what is he-" I stop in the middle of my sentence hoping he didn't hear me. Unfortunately, he heard it. "Hm?" He looked at me. "Did you say something?" I looked away. "I.. uh.. N-no." He nodded and smiled. Gosh, that smile.. He didn't move the whole time since he was there. So I tried to move a little bit far away from him. Good thing he didn't notice me.

"Wait a minute, so you were sitting beside him the whole time??!!" Heejee looked at me with wide eyes. I nodded. I felt my face heated up just the thought about it. "Aigoo... I thought there would be some romantic scene instead" she continues as she giggles.

"Heejee-ah, can you wait for me a little while I buy my food?" She nods as she points to a table and said "I'll be waiting for you there" as I get in the line to buy food, I felt someone taller than me coming from behind. I thought it was just one of my senior but when I looked back... My eyes widen but I quickly turned around to hide my face. I try my best to not let him notice me and managed to get out from the crowded place. Heejee waved at me and I run towards her.

"Eh.. He was graduating soon..?" Heejee said. She sounded a bit sad. "What?" I said as she looks at me. "Would you be crying if he's not in this school anymore?" I made an unreadable look and started to think. "Hm.. Maybe not." "But you liked him..!"

I was in the cafteria talking to my friends when I spotted my seniors going into the hall dressed in graduation gown. "Hm..?" I walked closer to them secretly trying to find Minghao. I finally spotted him but instead I turn around to not look at him. I can't bear to look at him. He was graduating soon. There's a chance that I can never see or meet him anymore. Although, he never even know me...

I gasped and jump from my sleep. "No.. No.. I can't.. I can't do this.. No.. No.. No!!!!!!" I cried as I gripped my blanket forcefully. A running footsteps from the door came to me but I ignore it and kept crying my heart out. "Y/N!!" Mingyu came to me and hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry!!" I shouted. More tears are coming out from my eyes. "No, don't be." I cried and cried until I felt better. "I miss him..."

Mingyu POV.

Those words stabbed me right in my heart. "Why would I miss someone that never even care for me?" She said. "Maybe he does.. We never know." She looked at me straight in the eyes as she said "Don't give me hope..." Her eyes filled with sorrow as she lowered her head. I reached closer to her and hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry.." I said. "Please.. don't be sorry. You did nothing wrong." "I should've been there for you earlier before all this happen." I said straight-forwardly. I can feel that she was shocked for a moment but ended up hugging me even tightly. "Thank you." She pulled away as she said it with a sad smile.

7:09pm

Y/N POV.

"Y/N" I looked toward his direction. "You hungry?" He said. "Uhm, yea. Got something to eat?" I chuckles. "Of course" he smiled. Suddenly, the atmosphere in the kitchen becomes awkward. No one dare to start a conversation. Mingyu keep glancing at me from time to time while he was cooking. "Why are you glancing at me like that.." "D-dinner's ready." he cut me off but his stuttering didn't stop me from chuckling at him. I walked toward the dining table as he sets the food there. "Smells nice." "It's just a ramen, Y/N" he chuckles. "Still."

We both eat in silence. "It's nice" "C'mon Y/N, don't play me, it's just ramen!" he said but his lips crooked a little forming a small smile. "I know, I know" I giggles. "Wanna watch some movies later?" He ask with hesitation. "Sure!" I answered without thinking a second thought as I smiled at him.

After finishing our dinner, I sit on the couch while Mingyu search for the movie to watch. What kind of movie do you have gyu?" I asked. "Not so many, horror movie.. action movie.. drama.. " I blinked. "I never thought you would watch dramas." I said, my voice filled with both shocks and curiousity. "I do have some, you wanna check some out?" I walked closer to him and looked for some dramas I wanted to watch. "Eh? Strong woman do bong soon? Hyungsik looks awesome in there!" He only smiles as I put the movie on. "Awww~ gyu, are you jealous?" I said. "No I'm not!" I chuckles at his cute expression. "Just like the old gyu." "I'm older than you" he huffed. "Yet, you're still a baby" I chuckles. "I'm not! Now stop it, the movie is starting" he said.
