Stay With Me Until I Fall

One rainy day, Annie was standing at the bus stop, the rain drenching her as she was only wearing some shorts, a light sweatshirt and some flip flops. She was upset because her and her friend Ruby got into a fight. She was on the way to go to the small arcade in downtown. She always went there if she was upset. Her best friend, Jason, was walking around the block because he loved the rain. It felt nice and relaxing to him. As he was walking, he saw his best friend/ crush Annie. "Hey!!" He said as he got over to her. She didn't look up. All she did was wave. "What's with the long face?" He asked. She looks up. She had dark rings around her eyes. "I'm just tired and cold." She said in a low whisper. "I got you love" He said as he put an arm around her. She was shivering. He started walking back to his house. Her place was kind of far walking wise and the rain was getting heavier. She had fallen asleep against his chest. "I got you" He said softly as he picked up her bridal style and started to walk back to his house.

About 20 minutes after he got back with her in his arms, she woke up. "Where am I..?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes. She didn't remember what happened. All she remembered was her and Ruby getting into a fight. After she finished rubbing her eyes, she saw Jason. Now she was really confused. "You passed out in my arms. Your house is kind of far from the bus stop, so I took you back to my place. If you want though, I can drive you back home." He said as he smiled softly. Annie thought about the fight. Ruby needed to be alone for a bit. "Actually, can I stay here?" She asked.. She didn't mind staying with her best friend that she totally didn't have a tiny crush on. He smiles and nods. "Though, the problem is that I don't have any clothes with me" She said as she rubbed the back of her neck softly. Jason chuckled and handed her a black shirt and pajama pants with little panda bears on it. She smiled as she took the clothes. She had totally forgotten that they left clothes at each other's house just in case they got kicked out. She went into the bathroom to change. She came out a couple minutes later. Damn she looks cute in those PJ's he thought as he was setting up the bed. Annie yawned and got underneath the covers. Jason smiled and turned the Tv on. He turned on Youtube. He got under the covers with her and smiled. He turned on a Jacksepticeye video and turned the volume on to low. After afew videos, he drifted off into a deep sleep.

Jason woke up in the middle of the night, the parched feeling in his throat burned a bit. When he sat up to get water, he couldn't get up. He soon found out that Annie was on his chest, sleeping peacefully. He pulled her closer, one arm around her waist and the other caressing her face. "I love you..." he whispered. and then he fell back to sleep.
