Losing my virginity to rape was the only thing going through my mind. I tried using my "telepathic" powers to get Hailey to come back and save me but Lord knows what she was up to. He was so drunk he couldn't unzip my pants but I knew he soon would. I couldn't kick; he was sitting on my legs. I couldn't scream; nobody would hear me. I couldn't move my arms; he was holding me down. I felt helpless.

I heard someone in the hallway and screamed for help. Kyle jumped up at that and covered my mouth, threatening me. I kept yelling; I didn't care. Only muffled screams were coming out of my mouth but that was my only shot. The door opens and Kyle leaps up. He tried to run into the closet but didn't make it in time. I was so overwhelmed I fell off the edge of the bed.

"Are you okay?! What's going on in here?"

That voice sounded eerily familiar. I peeked my head over the bed to see who it was. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was the stranger who found my phone.

"KYLE TRIED TO RAPE ME!" I screamed pointing at this poor excuse of a man.

"Seriously Kyle? What the fuck man." angrily questioned the stranger.

"She's lying. She's not even my type dude." scoffed Kyle.

"ARE YOU JUST GONNA STAND THERE AND TELL ME WHAT I JUST WENT THROUGH WASN'T REAL, BECAUSE I'M DRUNK NOT STUPID!"

"Kyle, I'm going to ask you again, is this true?"

"Of course not, man. Who are you gonna believe? Your teammate or some girl?"

"I happen to have met this girl tonight and she seems pretty trustworthy to me. Her shirt is off and her mascara is all over the place. This isn't the first time I hear about you pulling some shit like this. You, go outside and watch the door." He said, signaling at me.

Not wanting to add on to the tremendous amount of tension in the room, I bolted out the door and stood outside. I didn't know what was about to go down in there, and I was honestly too shaken up to find out. I suddenly overheard their deep voices arguing. It was muffled, and I could barely make out any of the words they were saying, but it sounded intense. I heard things being thrown around and I heard them charge at each other. I heard loud punches and grunts.

Things went quiet and I began to worry about who I would see come out of the room. I stood aside biting down my nails as the door creaks open. I close my eyes for a good five seconds and open them up again.

"Sucks that we had to meet under these disturbing circumstances. Noah; Noah Miller." He said, emerging from the room as he held out his hand.

What Noah did for me tonight didn't deserve a handshake, so I disregarded his hand and jumped up to hug him. This brought tears to my eyes and I found myself sobbing at the predicament I had gotten myself into tonight. He comforted me and we stood there for what seemed like an eternity before I pulled away and wiped my tears.

"Addison Taylor," I said, cracking a smile.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see Hailey walking towards the stairs. I yell for her to come to me. She seems better than before but she's falling and stumbling all over the place as she walks.

"I assume that's the infamous Hailey we were looking for?"

I shrug as I remember that I left him when he was trying to help me find my phone. None of this would've happened if I would've just stuck with him. He walks away from me in Hailey's direction. He tosses her over his shoulder and walks back to me. He reaches in his pocket and pulls out keys.

"Here, let me drive you home"

Being home was all I wanted right now; I'm never coming to one of Hailey's stupid parties again. She shouldn't know why; she could never find out about Kyle because it would break her heart and she'd only blame herself.
