Chapter 4

"ETHAN NOOO!!!" Talia fell to the floor with tears in her eyes. Maya and Taehyung tried comforting her but nothing worked. "Crystal, come over here." I heard Hosoek call me, I just hoped that both of them would calm Lia down.

"Yeah what's up?" I came over to him, he was kneeling on the floor near the backdoor examining a puddle of black substances. "Do you know this substance?" Hosoek asked me as he wiped the puddle with a towel. "I don't recall seeing anything like this before...." I said as looked at it suspiciously. "Lia calm down, it's gonna be fine." I heard Maya's soft comforting voice in the back.

What is this thing? And why is it like this? And why is it after all of us?!

I started to question a lot of things, but more importantly, I was concerned for Ethan and Talia. "How is she?" I walked over to Taehyung. "Not so good... She is a mess..." Taehyung said looking at Talia crying on Mayami's shoulder. "W-Why....?!" Talia said sobbing.

I have never seen her cry this hard about something before.

10 minutes later

Mayami's POV

"Is she okay?" Taehyung asked me and Crystal as we closed the door behind us slowly. "She's fine, she's just hurt from what happened with Ethan." Crystal said as she sighed and walked over to the kitchen. "Man, it must suck..." Jin said from my left. "I can't imagine what she's going through tho." Namjoon said as he walked over to the living room and threw himself on the couch.

"I do...." I said as I walked over and leaned on the kitchen counter near Crystal. "What?" The boys looked at me with worried eyes. "I know what she's going through." I said as I passed Crystal an onion. "What happened? Did your sibling get taken too?" Yoongi asked me as he closed the fridge door. "Not sibling... But my mom...." I said as I was about to tear up, but Crystal came next to me hugged me.

"Oh..." Jimin said looking at me with sad eyes. "It's fine, I got over it." I said as I walked to the picture frame of me, my mom and my dad together happily laughing. "It's just... Seeing Lia hurt like this reminds me of the past." I said as I looked at another picture frame, but only me and my mom in it.

"Do you mind telling us about what happened in the past?" Hosoek asked me, it caught Crystals attention cause I could see her head pop out from the kitchen door and looking at me. "You don't need to." Hosoek said before I could speak. "It's fine, you could sit down and I could explain it to you." I said as I sat down on a chair and hugged a pillow. "I'll be right back, I gotta give this soup to Talia." Crystal said as she walked to the room Talia is in.

"Let's wait for her." Jungkook said as he plopped himself on the floor and hugged a pillow. "Alright, I'm back." Crystal said as she sat down between Jimin and Taehyung on the floor. "It all started when I was young, my family was so happy... I was the happiest kid on earth.... Until, the incident happened...."

"Mommy, mommy! Look!" I said as I pointed on a bunny across a small river. "It's a cute bunny isn't it?" My mother said as she braided my hair. "It is! Can we have one?" I asked as I stood up and jumped around the picnic blanket. "Not now, when you grow up we'll buy you a pet!" She said as she was laughing at me.

"I'm here with the picnic basket!" I heard my dads voice as he placed the picnic basket down and sat next to my mother. "Daddy! Welcome back!!" I screamed in joy as I ran towards him and jumped on him. "Slowly Mayami! You might kill daddy!" My father joked around, we all laughed.
