Darren's Pov: Today I'll be starting a business. . .a pastry business.
I dont know if this will be easy, but I'll atleast try.
[Ding]
Berry: Darren, Darren, Darren snap out of it!
Darren: w-wha?!
As soon as I heard her voice saying snap out, I immediately snapped out of whatever I was thinking. Her voice was so loud and clear whenever I space out but so calming whenever something bad happens. Thats exactly why I chose her to be my ally through this business.
We started the day fine and there were alot of people who came to grab some tasty treats. Our other friends are doing fine in the cashier work so me and Berry were tje ones doing the chefs work.
The day ran smoothly like any other regular day but something twisted the lovely moonlight thays shining. Thunder clouds started appearing and covered the view of the shining moon.
The clouds started crying and it quickly got the road all wet. We soon closed the shop and prepared to go home.
While I was preparing my bag, I saw a shadow figure of a cat. At first I was scared but I gathered my courage and investigated. I went out with an umbrella and saw a cat.

The cat was laying on the ground, all soaked in rain water tangled in red strings.
I picked up the small cat and brought him inside.
Berry: Darren what are you doing? We're the only ones left here.
[Berry said in a friendly concerned tone]
Darren: Just an alley cat I found out there.
I dried the cat with a towel and slowly cut the red strings tied up to the cat. The cat seemed tired so I wrapped it in my jacket to keep him warm.
I walked home with Berry and the cat since me and Berry had the same house. As soon as we got home, I pulled out some cat food for the little kitty cat.
The cat was lucky to have wondered near us. Me and Berry are cat lovers so we kept 3 cats, and now theres 4.

That night, I couldn't sleep. I got up and made myself some sweet treats
