I struggled a lot for the proportions and the claws for this one unfortunately (The text covers up parts of the images and I have to guess, also because of my lack of skill). I did this one last so it became very lazy especially for the pattern ;-; sorry for bad quality. And for bad quality photos, I tried to get decent quality photos
The process(using the third book over as an example): Step one;

The first step I always take is mapping it out and doing a rough sketch to get the proportions right, and so I can use it as a base.
Step two;

Start adding details, on the bottom half of the photo you can see the book I'm using as a reference. I have this by me while I draw to check for details and check proportions.

(I'm really proud of the line art, my personal opinion(biased oof) is that it looks like it could be a colouring book, I kinda do just want to colour it like a colouring book ;-;')
Usually my step 5 is colouring but I'm not colouring this as it took me like 2 hours(I mean most of my drawings take 3-5 hours but like that's a lot of time to invest).
