1-the beginning

"Meimei wake up" Sad Eyes peaked in through a small crack in the door revealing the petite girl cuddled up to her blankets. Her eyes fluttered open as she scanned the room only to notice her older brother. "Im going to Oscars, if you're planning to come then quickly shower." He spoke once again receiving a huff and a nod from his younger sister. Meia spent half an hour getting up and showering before getting dressed into a black crop top, blue ripped jeans, fishnets and one of Cesars Nike jackets which she stole since he rarely wore it. She applied light makeup and and a black hat after brushing her long black air, she slipped on her vans and grabbed her pone before rushing out to her brother Antonio. Antonio looked her up and down tugging at the bottom of her shirt and letting out a sigh causing Meia to laugh. They lived around Oscar and Cesars house but still on the edge of Santos and 19th territory which was risky but it meant they could usually hear the whispers about the two gangs. They got into Antonios black impala, Meia connected her phone to the aux and proceeded to play OsshWop by Black Fortune while they headed to the familiar house surrounded by the usual Santos. Meia was basically the 'Santo Princess' due to the fact she was well known in the gang by being Sad Eyes sister and close to Oscar and Cesar. It wasn't anything extreme but she did have a reputation but was friendly with the rest of the Santos, towards other gangs she was cold and blunt. 

When they arrived at the familiar home, Meia climbed out of the car as her eyes spotted the tall Santos under the hood of his famous Red Impala. She wrapped her arms around his waist from behind and closed her eyes. Oscar let out a chuckle as he placed his hand on her arm and stood up turning around and wrapping his arms around her.  She was the only girl to make all the hard Santos go soft.  "Wow at this point i feel like you like my brother more than your own best friend" She heard Cesars voice behind her with a hint of jealousy. A smile crept onto her lips as she let go leaving Sad Eyes and Oscar to sort out their business. Cesar wrapped his arm around her shoulder.  "is that my jacket again?' he asked looking down at her letting out a small sigh. "nope its mine" Meia said confidently.

"i have to head to the corner store, wanna join?" Cesar said looking down at her earning a nod as a reply.  He grabbed some money from Oscar as they started walking. The store wasn't that far probably like 2 streets away. There was a silence between them but a comfortable silence which eventually got broken by Meia. " How's you and Monse?" She spoke up looking infront of her. "It's complicated, she still wants us to be kept a secret" Cesar said with a small huff of exhaustion. It seemed that it was weighing on his mind alot and he hadn't spoken up about it. "Just give it some time, she may come around. If not, she doesn't deserve you mano" she said with a small smile. She didn't hate Monse because they had never met but she did have  bad feelings towards her from what she had put Cesar through.  The two made it to the store and a car caught Meias eyes. "Man i need to get a job, thats like my dream car damn" She said with heart eyes towards a purple impala parked outside the store. There were two guys in the car, one tall male with a purple hat sitting in the back while there was a smaller bald one in the driver seat. Cesars brows furrowed as they made eye contact he spotted the number plate which read '19thstrt'. The smaller bald one looked the girl up and down with hungry eyes. "Meia lets just hurry" He said with a hint of panic as he kept his arm tightly around her shoulder while they stepped through the door. She managed to get out of his grip as she walked in to find the items Oscar asked for while Cesar kept an eye on her while collecting the other items. 

The store was practically empty, there was the cashier, Cesar, Meia and another guy. The male was wearing a white shirt with blue jeans and a purple bandana hanging from his jeans. His raven coloured hair was slicked back  exposing his mocha skin and his piercing brown eyes. The unfamiliar male made eye contact with the girl in front of him . He smirked at her causing her to have a disgusted look on her face. She shook her head and pushed past him to walk back to Cesar. She felt his hand on her waist causing her to turn around and glare. She couldn't lie, he was hella attractive. But if you give in just because someones attractive that could get you in serious trouble.

Cesar paid as they walked out with two bags in their hands. The male walked out behind them getting into the purple car, which the same car passed the two walking back to the Santos house. "Hey Oscar wants to head to the Summer Night Lights after hitting the pools, you up for it?" Cesar spoke up as they kept walking. "sure seems fun, you have to win me something though" she said with a small smile. The two arrived at the home and started to pack away the groceries and start getting ready. Oscar walked up to Meia and tugged at her jeans. "whats this?" he asked as his brow furrowed in confusion as he held a purple bandana that was slipped into her back pocket. She looked down at it with wide eyes. "Oh i found it" she said as she walked into Oscars room hurriedly. Meia practically lived with the Santos, that home was her second home. She left clothes in Oscars wardrobe without him knowing. She found a black and red bikini and slipped it underneath her current outfit. She slipped the bandana into her pocket without thinking as she got into Oscars impala along with Oscar and Cesar. They met up with the rest of the core four and Jasmine. 

Meia slipped off her clothes and jumped into the pool behind Oscar. They relaxed enjoying the water casually talking about how things were going to improve and life goals. Meia felt eyes on her which made her look around carefully. Her breath hitched in her chest as her eyes met with familiar eyes. She was overwhelmed with fear and disgust. The rest of the event happened meaning everyone had to be evacuated. Meia wanted an excuse to leave so badly. 

- i am ceo of clumsy i stg i broke my phone so i was unable to update for a while meaning i am now stuck with my laptop but schools started again so i hope i can keep up with all of my work and update this book. thankyou for the feedback i received about my last chapter which i have now deleted ksks
