Yoongi's heart sunk. His best friend. He wanted to volunteer for him, but he swore to Jimin that if either of them was picked, then they can't volunteer.

"Now for the second tribute... MIN YOONGI!"

Now it was Jimin's turn to have his heart sink. He and his best friend would either both die or one would have to live without the other for the rest of their lives.

And Yoongi knew this as well, and he wasn't about to kill his best friend so that he could live.

He was going to try his hardest to make Jimin win, and if Jimin didn't win he would win for him.
