Fear

While strolling to the place where haunted house is

Savior came beside me

"If you're not scared of ghosts, then why you don't want to go?" His voice in concern

"Cause I don't like" I stated absently.

"Pali, Pali (fast, fast) " Fancy ordered us taking both of our backs to move fast.

"Yes," Savior said with a sigh of resentment.
He seemed annoyed but, why?

We arrived and were ready to go.
Well not really.

But Leader appears to be enjoying it the most.

"Get ready Sunshine." Leader teased him mischievously

"Aaah! " Sunshine cried out in fear.
Savior laughed from behind

My heart is beating so fast and they have the guts to laugh.

"Let's go " Smarty cheered in excitement.

Slowly we went inside I let them go before me.
But Savior wanted me to go before him.

I sighed in relief by looking at red lights all around.

Now I am able to walk casually.

Few zombies came to scare us they screamed some in fear and some in excitement.

Leader's voice can state his enthusiasm he was the one who wanted this the most.

As we moved ahead light got dimmer and dimmer.

I took a deep breath and tried to be strong.

Ahead the light is completely off.

My body started sweating and trembling in the darkness.

Ghosts and skeletons were passing by to scare us. The guys were crying out loudly with no reason.

When It got completely dark. I stopped.
Same fear rushed through my veins. I can't see a thing.

Unexpectedly I felt someone behind me. It might be some ghosts perhaps I didn't move.
That same day came into my sense with the same feeling of loneliness.

"Move " I heard a whisper in my ear.
I mourned in panic and was about to kneel down in defeat.

A handheld me and straighten me up.

"What happened?" Hearing the same whispers now I recognized it's of Savior.

"It's too dark" I whispered like him.

"Isn't it obvious for a haunted house to be dark." He justified casually.

"It's d..ark... T..oo dark" why is this happening again I don't want to be here anymore.

"Don't touch me Rae Ae, please. Please don't" I begged when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey, it's me Savior" he said still whispering.

"Savior, it's too dark here.. I.. I can't.. I'm.." I want to explain but could not find the words.
Because of fear it's difficult for me to speak.

"Shhh... It's Okay I'm here" he said assuring me his presence to calm me down.

I felt him coming closer and then held my hand firmly. Though I can't see him I can feel him breathing.

A shiver ran through me. Don't know, if it is of fear or his touch.

"Goodness you're shivering. Don't worry I'm here " he said comforting me.
Didn't know when I start shivering.

"You're safe " as he said those words again and again my heart started to ease.

"I... Don't want to face reality. " shutting my eyes and murmured to his ears.
These were the same words I said to the boy years ago.
Don't know how it came through my mouth the exact words.
Savior makes me feel the similar warmth I felt that day.

"Trust me" he mumbled again.
I nodded, however, knowing he can't see me.

As my eyes were closed I heard the others yelling, crying. I could clearly hear Sunshine who is whimpering in fear.

When I heard  the screeching sound I almost dug my nails in his hand in dismay.

He didn't even make a sound. Here he is helping me and I, on the other hand, hurting him.

Once again loud screeching sound came from my left.

These sounds are very similar to that day.
For me, it's way scarier than anyone can imagine.

My hands naturally went to cover my ears while quickly kneeling.
It's a trauma that's digging a hole in my heart again.

I feel same panic attacks. Same pain in my heart.

My rapid increasing heartbeat ceased when Savior pulled me into a hug kneeling the same way.

Even in this situation, I'm feeling strong sensation from his touch.

Damn, he smells so good, his arms perfectly caressed me.

Kim Yuhee don't think it.

Still, it feels warm and safe, somehow he can ease my dismay.

We stayed there don't know how long without uttering a word.

"Gwenchana? (Are you alright? )" he asked in concern.

"Uhmm, thank you" I tried to get away from his hold and stood slowly. Yet, I really want stay like this forever with his arms around me but it's not possible.
He did the same.

"Let's hurry up," I said before he asks me something which I won't be able to answer.

"Yeah," he said in a controlled voice.

We soon came out of the haunted house, the whole time we said nothing to each other. We just moved together.
Savior walked with me while holding hands so that I don't feel the same fear again

"Where were you both?" I face the person who asked. It's Fancy.

"That creepy ghost caught me and wasn't leaving" he lied dryly and went where others were.

"And you?" Fancy asked

"I couldn't see where I was going" I lied.

"Our Buchimjae got lost," he said stroking my hair and smiling.

His gesture made me smile too.
We went to others.

"We should get going before it gets too late," Smart advised to all.

"Right." leader agreed while playing with keys in his hands.

It is true. If we'll be late Eoma will never allow me to go with my friends again.

"Was it fun coming with us to the park Buchimjae."  Leader asked me, it's his first time calling me by my nickname.

"Of course." I described happily. From now on this day is included in my one of the best day list for sure.

Except for the haunted house which is no longer terrifying when Savior was beside. Everything was perfect today.

We soon reached my place. This time Shybean drove the car and he was amazing like Leader.
I sat in between Fancy and Puppy, Savior sat in the front seat with Shybean others sat behind us. I wanted to sit beside him.

Sunshine, Puppy and everyone insisted to join them for dinner except him.
So I denied giving an excuse of being late.

Everyone got out of the car to send me with goodbye. Except. Him.

When he was in the front seat he laughed and chatted with everyone. Except. Me.
