At Home With Iduna, Ryder and Bruni (A Frozen Story)

🍁 Prologue: Free Spirits 🌿

Three Frozen characters will randomly be going on an epic journey to the future- well, the future to them.
Iduna, Ryder, and Bruni will be journeying into the present day to stay at a nice, quite unusual home. Two will dream, one will gleam, and they'll be on a ❄ chilled ❄ adventure very soon...

Enchanted Forest, 1843

"What a great day it's been! But now, it's time that I go to bed. Goodnight everyone - and reindeer..." Ryder said sleepily.

Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Yelana wished Ryder goodnight. So did his sister Honeymaren, although she was rather surprised at her brother's earlier bedtime this evening.

As Anna, Kristoff and Sven got ready to depart from the Enchanted Forest after a reindeer-filled day, Elsa, Honeymaren and Yelana wished them a safe journey. Not too long after the sunset, they got ready to go to sleep themselves.

Ryder Nattura was soon fast asleep, dreaming. Instead of his usual fantasies of riding reindeer under the sunny, blue skies, Ryder delved into an unusual dream. He seemed to staring at a note in his hands, which seemed to include a variety of seemingly random phrases:

Adventures await you in the future... 2020...coronavirus...go and stay at home with them...a Northuldra queen...blue salamander...Frozen fan...pick loosestrife flowers...

Ryder tossed and turned, soon waking up from his mysterious dream. Whilst he still remembered it, he wrote down every word he could remember on a scrap of paper, then made his bed and ran out of his home before anyone saw him.

Honeymaren entered inside just minutes after Ryder had run off. She went to check on her brother, but he wasn't there. This frightened Honeymaren, as she had always tried her best to keep him safe and know his whereabouts. Ryder never disappeared without telling anyone. The feeling became too much for her. "RYDER!" she yelled, fainting on the spot.

Unidentified Place, 1843

Iduna had also slept a little earlier that same night, just after witnessing a spectacular sunset. She woke up from the same dream that Ryder had, though instead of "Northuldra queen", she read "Northuldra reindeer boy". Though she didn't write down her dream (most of it was memorable enough), she was wondering where she was going to find loosestrife flowers to take with her.

"Purple loosestrife flowers. There were plenty in the forest."
Those flowers looked beautiful. If only I was still there... there's got to be some nearby. What was that about 2020? Might I travel to that year...in the future? Wow!

Iduna was thrilled to have the chance to go somewhere so freely. The salamander and "Northuldra reindeer boy" may have also dwelled in the Enchanted Forest; she might catch up on events that had happened since the mist wall formed.

Could that mean the Forest is now free? When I return from the journey, I could meet my family again! Wind Spirit! Elsa and Anna, my darlings!

Iduna beamed at the idea that those wonderful thoughts would soon be coming to life.

"Found some!" Iduna whispered in excitement as she discovered a bunch of yellow and purple loosestrife near a small pond. As she held a handful of the long flowery stems, she felt almost lifted by the air. It was a reminder of those sweet days back in the Enchanted Forest, when the Wind Spirit let her fly!

As well as flying, Iduna started to become invisible to the magical Scandinavian lands of 1843, and was soon about to reappear in the United Kingdom, in 2020...

Enchanted Forest
