hey so first poem, i found it in one of my primary english books in year 5.
🔮warnings: talk of pain and implied muteism🔮"hey, girl" everyone says as she walks past. all she would do was stare blankly and ignore. "hey, girl, why don't you talk?" she would get asked. no one knew her name or her pain.
her pain would be compared to a firefly in the the palm of a bear. let me explain, the firefly would represent the irregular ease of safeness with the awareness of that something could go wrong. the bear, she would cry silently and hope to god or whoever was up in the clouds to make it stop. the pain of the bear was enough to kill a man or woman. but this girl would walk through hell and back. this type of pain could drive her over the edge. but instead of speaking of it she would sit in silence and not talk.
"Hey, girl" they would say, not knowing the pain
so i wrote this in year five, it's not the best but it was the best piece of writing that year.
no hate please ;-;
