Once I've made it towards the third years rooms, I see the "big gang" as Nejire likes to call ourselves. "Welcome back Y/n, took you a bit." Mirio says with a wide grin. I smile back, "Sorry for the wait, it was important.". Now standing by Nejire, I look to the big door we're all starring at. You'd think if the door we still wouldn't be amazed by how large the door year after our third year.
"Well here's class 1-A, me and Amajiki will see you two at orientation." Nejire turns toward me and Mirio with a smile. "Of course, see you soon", I replied.
I send a small wave too the two while they are walking into their classroom, 3-A. Mirio and I are both in class 3-B. I got into school through recommendations but my quirk was deemed 'not good enough for class 3-A'. The test to get into U.A. aren't very well thought out. People with quirks that have to do with mental ability don't do well. But hey, I'm just lucky to be able to get into school through recommendation.
My father, Mirai Sasaki, is a pro-hero you see. His hero name is Sir Nighteye. Former sidekick of the number one hero, All Might. Although they're not on speaking terms, I have talked to him a few times. My dad's the reason I look up to All Might. I look up to my dad to just my dad's love for him has also been 'passed on' to me.
The only people who know who my dad is, are the pro-hero's. My father thought it would be better keep it a secret for the time being until I become a pro myself. Only got one more year left to go. I don't like keeping secrets from my friends but this is one I have to keep for awhile.
My mom died when I was born, something to do with complications during birth. Sometimes I feel like it's my fault she's dead. I feel sad that I didn't get to know by mother but its alright cause I had my father growing up.
"Y/n, hey y/n? You there?" Mirio called out to me. Snapping out of my thoughts, I turn my head towards him, "Sorry got caught up in my thoughts." When we both reach the door to our class. Mirio opens the door, both walking in, everyone seems to already be in class. All their attentions focuses onto us, dropping all their conversations with whoever they are talking to.
"Uhhh h-hello, good to see you all." I quickly say to everyone. After that everyone just gets back to their old conversations. "Well that was weird, it's like we haven't got to school with each other for the past 2 years" Mirio breaths out. I just shrugged my shoulders and started walking towards my assigned seat. Mirio follows quickly after.
Only a few minutes after we sat down, our homeroom teacher walks in. "Good Morning class! Hope everyone had a good break. Welcome to your 3rd and final year. Can't wait to see what the future holds." He added with a smirk. After he had said something about the future, we caught eyes. Obviously the teachers knew about my dads quirk, only the students didn't. It has to do with keeping my father a secret. "Orientation will be starting soon, let's start heading that way." With that being said, everyone got up and started to head towards the hall.
Upon being in the hall, I look out the window to see what looks like class 1-A to be out on the field. "Mirio look, seems that Mr. Aizawa already has his class up to work." "Looks like class 1-A is already in for the time of their lives." He replies back with a small laugh. Giggling, I said back "Hopefully he can keep a full class this year."
Time skip after school-
Orientation took the rest pretty much all day, only getting a break for lunch, real classes will start tomorrow. "Why did orientation have to last all day, it's not like we haven't been going to his school for the pas two years.." I said to "big gang", annoyed. We all headed towards the front of the school just chatting until we get ready to head our own ways. Nejire says her goodbyes first then Mirio. Leaving just me and Amajiki. Amajiki speaks first, "I'm going to head home, are you okay to head home by yourself?" "Of course, stay safe Amajiki-kun." He starts walking off and send a little wave.
Taking out my phone, I send a quick text to my father, telling him I will be home soon. He ends up telling my he'll be home late due to hero work. Which I'm used to.
Today was a pretty good day, I start my destination home. What a good start to my final year.

Hey, hey hey! Sorry for the late post, online school took up my whole life basically. Also my mental state isn't very good right now but do not worry, I will be completely fine. Nothing I haven't dealt with before.
