It happen about a three years ago, when my father was killed in car crash, I was fourteen at that time. He was coming home late from work and wanted to surprise his little girl with a new puppy. Only for a truck driver who had fallen asleep on the road collided with his car head on. Father died from the impact as a small whimpering could be heard from the back of the car from the puppy in it's cage.

The police came to our house that night as I woke up to my mother screaming. Racing down the stairs to see the living room filled with officers with their hats at their side. My mother was holding something close to her chest, father's favorite hate and a small puppy. I slowly walked over to my mom falling onto my knees with tears running done my eyes. "He is gone isn't" I sobbed out as she could only nod, wrapping one of her arms around me as the officers slowly left the room. The driver that killed my father was sent to prison for five years for manslaughter. Yet that couldn't come close to help mend me and my mother's broken hearts.

"Ah I see the bitch hasn't learn from last time" hearing a sickly snicker from behind. Making an annoyed sound slipping through my teeth and slowly turned around.

"I'm just passing through boys, relax" I sighed out raising my hands slightly.

"This our territory and outsiders are not welcome!"

"Like anyone would want a shit hole like this..." I said to myself with a small smirk on my lips looking around. "What was that punk?" Oh shit they heard....

"Oh look at the time!" I pointed at my wrist that had no watch "Well it was so not lovely to see you guys again, bye!" I started to run with them not to far behind.

Damn this is not how I planned my day to be, if only it was one and not three or I wouldn't be running. Taking a sharp turn I heard one of them say to spilt up, great just what I needed. Seeing a dead end in front of me but luckily had a short wall. I jumped and pulled myself over hearing a groan behind me. I turned around squating while looking down at him "Ah that didn't feel nice did it big fella" making a pouty voice as my lips grew into a smirk. When I was lifting myself up I had kicked him right in the nose, good bye to that once clean white shirt. Apon hearing some noises to my left I got back up and started running. Suddenly I'm being shoved to the ground causing me to groan out in pain. Rolling onto my back I kicked the guy in the chest only to get punched in the face but another.

Today is not a good day for me...

"Not so tough are you little punk!" One of them said grabbing by my shirt. A low chuckle came out of my throat "pity it takes a pack to hunt down one" I said spitting blood on his cheek. "Why you little" he began to lift his fist and before he could land another punch a sound of a cop car could be heard.

"Shit it's the cops" one said as they began to run off while the one that had me kicked me down on the ground before running off. Coughing from the impacted I heard the sound of slow foot steps behind me. I looked up with a small smile on my face. "Bradley! If you were a second to late I would have gotten my ass kicked!" I laughed which soon turned into a nervous one.

"It's officer Wilfred, come on get up now" he said in a gruff voice. Slowly sitting up with my legs cross I couldn't help but rub the back of my neck nervously "are you taking me back to moms.....?"

"Mhmm" he hummed out.

"But I didn't do anything wrong this time!" I yelled out.

"Mhmm."

"I'm serious!"

"Mhmm."

"That's all your going to say till I get up aren't you..."
