** Mission Log Two **
March 26th / 4:41 PM
We were on our way into the sketchy alleyway where the cafe was located, I brought along Sans with me again since he knows all the general things and details about the mission. I brought the stuff she said she needed for the mission. I don't understand why she wanted me to buy miniature sized army of soldiers that were made out of plastic.
I shrugged at the thought, and a plus to that, I don't even understand her reason why she didn't buy the miniature sized figures herself. “I can't go to the mall buying a kid's toy without a kid, I would look suspicious to the other buyers and they'll think that I'm some kind of child-like adult. I mean like, child-like buyers are cute but I'm not one sooo, you buy it bye—” then hung up the call. I couldn't even my head around this one, like the h€¢k does she even mean? I knew I had to buy it, she didn't have a very good alibi though.
Entering the cafe's doors, I spotted Muffet on a bar stool again and gestured us over to the same booth in the underground cafe but just a level deeper. She found out recently that her spiders have gone a level lower because they couldn't find her presence anywhere near the HQ or his mansion. So they went a level lower just because of her disappearance.
With this information, she said that their level is specific correspondingly to her height, so if she grew taller, the spiders would be a level higher, but since she was underground with us for a long time. Her spiders went down a level lower to try and detect her body temperature and body figure through their beady little eyes.
“Wow, your spiders are really that overprotective of you?” I pointed out, she only gave me a approving look. “It's my Father really, he doesn't want me going anywhere without him knowing where I'm actually going, so he set up my spiders to watch over me while he was gone.” I nodded my head, there was so much things that she is telling me about herself.
“I mean, I'm an adult already, shouldn't I be the one to make decisions? Shouldn't I be the one to take care of myself? Should I be the one to rely on myself when there I should one around to help me?” She rambled, her hands flailing up and about.
“But, hey. You know some people need help standing up even when they say that they could do it.” I stated while popping a French fry into my mouth. “Yeah? Your point?” She rose a brow, resting her head on two hands. “Well, it's like saying that I could do it without anyone's help. You just feel like you're trapped but you're not, I'm sure he has a reason why.” She puffed her cheeks at my answer, not really fully understanding or fully grasping this concept of life.
Seems like her father kept her up with all the training and missions all her life, she was never taught a valuable lesson once.
I looked around for Sans, he was taking to long to order. I then looked over to Muffet, “Tell you what, maybe I could teach you somethings after this y'know?” Her eyes lit up at my words, excitement was very visible through her facial expressions and a grin was etched into her face.
“Yeah, sure! I'd love to have those!” Muffet smiled gleefully at me like a child. It makes me sad knowing that she didn't have a childhood to begin with, I mean like. I could say the same but partially in my life.
“So what'd I miss?” Sans snapped me out of train of thoughts. We both looked at him, seeing that he had a ketchup bottle on his hand. “Is that why you were taking so long?”, “That shouldn't take long to order!” we're thrown at him at the same time.
He only laughed at our complaints to which we both rolled our eyes on. Damn this skeleton.
Now that's out of the way, we began our planning while we were eating French fries and drinking soda and Sans just drinking his ketchup. “So, we start here just to distract him. Whenever we get attacked by a mafia, my Father would always take care of the first blow to the HQ and it always keeps him busy which would considers him vulnerable and weak. I have taken note of his weaknesses from day 1.” I looked at her if she was crazy.
“Yeah, he has a few recorded weaknesses, like the first blow to the HQ is his main priority because he probably has gotten used to people counter attacking the enemy while he was takes care of the first blow, but now that he has me, he doesn't have to worry.” She frowned at the last part, knowing about the reason why she was there.
“Another weakness is the second blow, if the the second blow is quite in the vicinity of the first one, it would stress him out. I noticed this when we were attacked by another mafia years ago, we almost lost the fight because that.” I nodded, taking note on how we could work that out with the HQ because it has changed frequently throughout the years that she has been there.
“More of his weaknesses are mostly top priorities, but I'm not. So that makes weakness number 3, which is me.” I looked at her in bewilderment, Sans had the same look as I. “Yeah, it's a huge surprise to guys, but to me. Anyways, he doesn't really care if got hurt, but if I got taken away, he would lose his mind because I'm his only weapon of destruction.” Me and Sans looked at each other, agreeing.
Now, it kinda makes sense.
“So, if we start here, where most first blows are taken, we could start the second one here to keep him distracted.” I pointed to one of the HQ balconies, she nodded knowing that I was right. “Yes, then, if we infiltrate this place here, my spiders would counter attack.” I took note on that.
“Hey, why don't we take a fourth blow?” Sans suggested, me and Muffet looked at him confused. Why would we have a fourth blow (not like that you nasties) when there's obviously a third one that we could use. We could pretend that Muffet is taken away and he'll lose his mind over that.
“Why don't we keep attacking the same two places to keep him more distracted just in time for Muffet to pretend like she got kidnapped.” Well that made sense, at the same time it didnt.
We both shrugged and agreed to it anyways.
We continued on with our plans and it is almost 75% complete. We bidded our goodbyes and went home.
The plan went fairly well.
Now I know why she wanted me to buy those miniature sized army of soldiers.
