The Storm of Epidemic

In the cold of the north,
The worst fear hath struck.
From bats it came to man,
Who has some bad luck.

Till now it was forgotten,
Now the world must awaken.
Yesterday the world was calm,
Today it is preparing for a storm.

Lock-downs, confinements, quarantines everywhere,
You and I must take care.
Here in the eternal night,
We must work to restore light.

Loose hope and we shall fall,
We had dealt with this before after all.
Try, we must. Fail, we may.
If we try again, we will win one day.
