Hizashi Yamada - Confession (☁️)

Stress. Stress. Stress.

That is all you felt at the moment. You were completely bombarded with work in the office at UA High School. All you wanted to do was go home and sleep for the rest of the day to catch up on your rest.

"What's up, (y/n)?"

This sudden entrance causes you to jump in your seat. Due to all of your stress, your hands were rather shakey and you were very jumpy.

"Woah! Didn't mean to scare ya there."

It was Hizashi. What was he doing here? He had to have already finished all of his work for the day, so why was he still at work?

"Hizashi? What are you doing here?" you ask the man.

"Well, I just finished everything I had to do for the day, so I thought I'd come check up on you before I head home." he answers you.

"Must be nice."

"Yeah, it is nice to come here to see you." Hizashi jokes, giving you a wink.

Oh, God, stop.

Hizashi Yamada always knew how to make you flustered. He was such a ladies man. You try playing it cool and let out a sarcastic laugh in response to his statement.

"Anyways, how has your day been going so far?" Hizashi asks.

"Hizashi, as much as I'd love to talk, I've got work to do." you respond, your voice slightly raised.

"You seem stressed, why don't you take a break?"

"Can't."

"(y/n), come on, your mental health is important. Paperwork can wait."

"Why do you care? Hizashi, just leave me alone please, I really need to finish this."

In a flash, Hizashi snags the paperwork off of your desk and raises it up in the air so that you can't reach it.

"Hizashi! What the hell! Give that back!" you you protest as you get up from your seat.

You jump up to try to reach the paperwork from his hands. Of course, this fails. You couldn't reach. Tears started forming in your eyes as you gave up trying to steal back your paperwork.

"Woah, woah, woah! (y/n), I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"

"No, you're right, I need to take a break. God, I'm a mess."

Hizashi sets the paperwork back down on your desk and you stare at the pile of work. You were so tired. You really wanted to get the work over with, but it was unhealthy to overwhelm yourself with it. You suddenly feel two arms wrap around you from behind.

"H-Hizashi?"

"I care about you... A lot." Hizashi states.

This makes your heart flutter. You begin to get flustered as well due to his arms being wrapped around you in such a warm embrace.

"Thanks. I love you, Hizashi."

"What?"

Hizashi lets go of you and you turn towards him, not daring to look at him though.

"I-I mean! I didn't- I-" you stutter.

All of your stuttering causes a smile form onto Hizashi's face. He always thought you were cute and wonderful. However, he never really had the courage to tell you that until now.

"I love you too, (y/n)." Hizashi states with a smirk.

You were shocked. However, you couldn't really tell if he was just messing with you or if he really meant what he said.

"Y-you... You mean it?" you ask, finally gaining the courage to look into his green eyes.

"I do. I have for a while now." Hizashi confesses.

"W-why didn't you tell me?"

"I was afraid you wouldn't feel the same way."

"Are you serious? You're Hizashi Yamada. A confident, flirty man. How could you have been afraid to tell me that you loved me?" you ask.

"I can flirt with any other girl that I want so easily! But with you...it's different... You're special." Hizashi explains.

At this point, your heart began to soar.

"Be mine?" he asks.

"Of course."
