I woke up with the light hitting my face and at the sound of my phone ringing...

I tried my best to reach it from my side table without sitting up but it was a poor attempt so i pull the covers off me which i just realize by now, a very bad idea because its freaking freezing...

My phone still keeps on ringing so i answered it for dear life.

"Good morning babe"

I heard from the other line.

"What's good about the morning babe?"

I lazily answered and pretty sure i said it in mid yawn.

I heard Shai (my best friend since forever) laughing from the other line. Its not my fault that she's such a morning person.

"Well the fact that you're still alive might be one so quit prying babe and get ready! I'll be there in 30 mins."

And with that she ended the call and i took a 20 min shower and another 10 mins of preparing just in time before i heard the doorbell ring.

"Julie dear, Shai's here!"

I heard my mom yell from downstairs

I quickly ran down and hug her goodbye then pulled Shai to her car. Halfway there i looked back at my mom who was still sanding by the door. Now with my big brother James who looked like he just came out of the shower.

"Mom, do you see what Shai needs to go through every morning?"

I gestured Shai's car to make a point.

"Dear, you have 1 more week left and I’m sure Shai doesn’t mind, right pumpkin?"

Ever since forever my mom has been calling Shai "pumpkin"

What she meant by 1 more week was my punishment. I was grounded for 3 weeks. 3 fuckin weeks without going out of the house except for school, no tv and no car!!brutal.

"I'm okay with it Mrs. Smith"

Shai yelled and waved goodbye to my mom and i saw her get all blushy when my brother waved back at her.

We got in her car and drove off.

"Of course it’s okay with you, you get to see my brother after all"

I said while wiggling my eyebrows at her then her face was tinted red again.

"Shut up Lee"

I just laugh at her embarrass state and turned on the radio...

We got to school just in time before the bell rings causing a riot.

It’s a sight to see ...

Some Students running across the hall to get to their class, some were just having conversations by their lockers and of course the couples mainly from the popular group would be eating their faces off of each other. Classic cliché high school stuff.

I'll be honest, I’m going to miss this...

My last year in high school.

Its lunch time already and as per usual the cafeteria’s full.

We walked in and spotted someone waving at Shai and me.

"Hey twins over here!"

Messy brown hair, hazel green eyes and standing at 6'2 with all his God given beauty

Jake...

The love of my life

Cheesy i know but i can’t help it. Just like Shai having a crush on my brother since middle school, i've had a crush on Jake the first time i saw him when i was 7.
