You rub your eyes and sit up then fall out of your bed due to lack of sleep. Grabbing the handle of the bathroom door, you pull yourself up and go to brush your teeth and get ready for school. The sun is shining brightly through the window, there was no sign of it getting cloudy that day.

"(Y/n), are you trying to miss the first day?"

With a sigh you call, "No, mom, I'm not."

After tying up your (h/c) hair into a loose braid, you make your way to the kitchen to grab breakfast and get to school. After struggling for a minute with the door, you realize it's locked. You close the door behind you and see your friends Noel and Izuku waiting for you.

"Sorry to keep you guys waiting, you've probably been standing there for a while," You ask your friends with a sheepish grin.

"Actually, no, we just got here-" Noel was cut off by Izuku's arm.

"We should, uh, probably get going, shouldn't we? We don't wanna be late for our first day."

"Izuku, wait..." Your friend trails off, "Come on, (y/n)!" Noel says grabbing your wrist and breaking into a run.

After a solid 3 minutes of running, you reach a crosswalk, and the two of you catch up with the green-haired boy. When you three are allowed to cross, you speed walk across the crosswalk. It doesn't take long but you eventually reach U.A. High. You had gotten in through recommendations, however, you remember that your friends had to take the entrance exam.
"Hey, flower girl!" You hear someone yell, and then a sigh from Izuku.

A boy with spiky sand-coloured hair approaches your trio, "Yes, Kacchan?" Izuku asks the loud blonde.

"Where is the one with flower bombs or whatever the fuck they are?" He asked bluntly, looking around the area. "I'm right here, no need to be loud." Noel stares at the boy, crossing her arms.

You notice the time and drag the rest of your group inside as you find your class, class 1-A. You make your way through the room and look inside at your classmates. Izuku walks off to talk to a brunette with short hair, and you drag Noel along with you to find someone to talk to. You find yourself talking to two girls, one with short, dark purple hair and the other with long, black hair in a ponytail.

"Hey, (y/n) and Noel, right?" The taller one asks.

Noel replies with a chuckle, "Yep!"

"So she is the one that moved her from America a couple months ago." The purple-haired girl muttered.

You look at her, "Mhm, she found about U.A. on a trip abroad to Japan and convinced her parents to try and get her into the hero class."

When the girl is about to reply you hear the brunette Izuku was with, something had happened so you went to look. Making your way to the open door you look down with a bit of a surprised look. A man, a person you couldn't tell their gender very easily. Just lying there, on the floor in a yellow sleeping bag. Your face lit up with confusion. You left the doorway and made your way to your seat, and you took a glance at who was sitting next to you. She had large onyx-black wings that were spread slightly out, seemingly so they didn't drag along the floor. She had elf-like ears and a slim build, and she appeared rather tall for her age. She had a rather bored expression on her face, with her right hand holding up her head as she spun a medium-sized black feather around in her hand, seemingly lost in thought. Her eyes were a cold icey-blue and she had long, dark eyelashes that made her eyes have a more angular shape. Her pupils seemed smaller than most, somewhat resembling those of a blackbird's, and a small strand of hair partially obscured her left eye. Her appearance didn't make her seem too approachable, but you swore to yourself you would make this girl your friend.

You see the man stand up and unzip his sleeping bag, "Hello, my name is Shouta Aizawa, and I am your teacher."

Everyone in the room looked confused, surprised, or a mixture of both, other than the girl sitting next to you. She seemed to have a blank expression on her face as she dropped the feather she was holding and let her left arm rest against the desk.

"Let's get to it," the teacher said, pulling out a navy uniform with white lines on it, "Put these on and head outside."

"A quirk assessment test? But we're gonna miss orientation," The short haired brunette said with some confusion.

With his back still turned to the class he said to your class, "If you want to be a pro you can't waste your time on pointless ceremonies. At U.A we aren't tethered to tradition so I run my class how I see fit."

You and most of your classmates gasped in shock. Bakugo was up first, he blew the ball away as he yelled, 'DIE', earning a distance of 705 meters. Next it was your turn to throw, you threw the ball and activated your quirk so it just reached the edge of the circle, just in time as well. Your force field hit the ball and sent it flying, earning you a distance of 710 meters, this made Bakugo angry. Next was the girl with the wings, she stared at the ball, threw it quite high up into the air, and with one strong beat of her wings sent it flying. She revived a distance of 243.2 meters. "Not the worst, but not the best either..." You muttered. Soon, it was only Izuku and the brunette. The brunette threw hers to infinity. Izuku tried, but something happened and he only got 36 meters, you saw a look of shock on his face, but you knew what happened. The teacher erased his quirk, after Mr. Aizawa talked to your friend he was allowed to try again, again he threw the ball but his quirk worked this time.705.3 meters. Bakugo looked even more pissed off than he did when you beat his score. Your class was shown scores, and you saw Izuku's name at the bottom and your heart skipped a few beats. You were very sad, until you heard Mr. Aizawa speak.

"I lied. No one was getting expelled, it was just a logical ruse," He said in his typical monotone voice.

"What!?" The entire class gasped in shock.

"It was that hard to figure out it was just a ruse? Obviously he wasn't going to expel anyone on the first day." The winged girl said after sighing.

"Riko is right, I wouldn't do it on the first day. Too much paperwork." He muttered the last part so that no one could hear it.

As you walked back to class you had to punch Mineta for trying to flirt with Noel. His hand went directly to his nose to check if it was bleeding, it was. You didn't even punch him that hard, he just had a soft nose.

In a nasally voice, "You made my nose bleed."

"Oh shut it Cake Badger!" You hear someone call from up front you didn't know who it was.
