First Shot pt. 3

Bang Chan POV

We were able to get a blood covered and trembling Win back to MCND, getting a large sum in return and many 'thank yous' from the young gang.
Felix.
I turned around to the boy that hasn't spoken a word the whole time, the only time he spoke to anyone was before the mission began.
"Baby." I said softly while approaching the boy once we stepped foot inside the warehouse we called home.
"Shhh...shhhh I'm here Lix...shh." Felix's legs began to shake and he gave out in my arms once I reached the quiet male that soon began to sob in my hold.
"T-that wa-was so sca-scary Channie!" Felix sobbed in the entry way.
"I know baby but everyone is safe, don't worry Felix everyone is okay." I soothed Felix by rubbing his back and speaking sweet things in the boy's ear.
"Shh." I hugged the crying boy tightly in my embrace as everyone else slowly left without speaking of the scene unfolding in front of them.
"H-his bl-blood was ever-everywhere." Felix trembled in my arms as his eyes were wide open with fear.
"Baby...I'm so sorry I brought you along." My heart hurt at the poor boy who had to witness the male die. The guilt slowly building up in my chest and the thoughts of what could have been running through Felix's mind through out the whole entire mission. I felt horrible...
"Cha-Chan." Felix cried harshly in my hold.

Felix ended up falling asleep in the same place he began crying, too tired to even move out of the walk way.
"You better take care of him Chan." Jisung spoke as he walked into the kitchen as I scooped Felix up into my arms and held him bridle style.
"I will Ji." I reassured Jisung before carrying Felix to our bedroom and undressing the two of us before laying down in bed next to the freshly cleaned and asleep boy.
I closed my eyes, slowly drifting off to sleep with Felix beside me.

I was woken up to screaming beside me, immediately knowing what was happening.
"Felix, wake up!"
"Felix!" I shook the boy awake and pulled the sobbing male into my arms.
"Shhh...it was just a nightmare baby." I rubbed the male's back in the darkness of the room as Felix's cries slowly became soft sniffles.
"Chan." The boy whispered.
"I'm here Lix." I held Felix in between my legs and in my arms.
"I'm sorry for bringing you baby." I spoke softly as I ran my fingers through Felix's soft hair.
"No...it's fine I-I'm just not used to this yet." Felix spoke with tired eyes.
"But I will be...I want to keep coming with you. I need to make sure you stay safe Channie." I smiled sweetly at Felix's words.
"I'll always be right beside you baby."
