"KIYAN!!", I had cried out. "KIYAN PLEASE HE-", but I was cut off due to me choking on my own breath running for my very own life. Running from Jairo. Jairo was supposed to be Kiyan's protector. His loyal and "trustworthy" companion...his very own full blooded brother—but instead he turned against him. Probably due to my longing and unsettling presence, and now what appears to be this great offer I had witnessed Asakura give to him just moments before.

"Jairo...kill Rin and whatever you desire, you shall receive."

But it was too late to warn Kiyan of the incident. They both caught sight of me after I nervously tripped and knocked down a glass statue while stumbling out of my hiding spot. Panicked, I ran for it trembling in fear praying that my legs wouldn't give up on me yet.

"Kiyan", I thought. "Please hear me."

"Well this is it", I gasped to myself while desperately running as fast I possibly could. Unfortunately, Jairo was faster. Faster than any other creature or animal I've ever witnessed before. He was on me in just matter of seconds. Overcome with the fear of dying here and now, I tried calling out to Kiyan one last time, but before I even had the chance to get out the second cry for help, Jairo had jumped right in front of me stopping me dead in my tracks enabling me to go any further. I had no time to even process or react to him nor what was about to happen when I felt something sharp and pointed plunge into my lower torso—just slightly under my belly button. Again, I choked on my breath looking down upon the pale and veiny hand that was wrapped around what seemed to be a dagger, and I watched as it was pulled out in one swift movement almost as quickly as it was placed there. And just like that, I looked up and found Jairo no where in sight. I then dropped to my knees pressing my hands over the freshly opened wound, paralyzed on what to do next. Even to this day, I don't remember much of what happened next, but I do remember seeing Kiyan sprinting towards me out of nowhere from the long corridor ahead.

"Kiyan," I desperately thought. "You came for me."

He arrived just in time to catch my head from hitting the now bright red stained concrete as my body propelled me forward in pain. However, even that was a fuzzy moment. I began to fall in and out of consciousness once I felt his arms wrapped around me.

"Rin..", he began, "Rin who did this you?"

He sounded so angry and upset. But mostly, I could hear the pain in voice, as if he blamed himself that this happened to me. As if it was he himself who stabbed me and left me for dead.

"I'm so sorry, this was never supposed to happen. I should've been here with you. Rin.."

"Kiyan.."

He lifted me up so quick and effortlessly and began sprinting with such speed, it almost felt like we were flying.

"Ki—yan.." I tried to mumble out again.

But before I could get out anything I needed to, my voice became enabled. I was almost gone. My entire body was slowly shutting itself down and there was nothing I could do about it. And just like that, everything went black. I became a lifeless figure held in his strong arms that were now covered in sweat, tears, and blood.
