The next morning, Braison decided to talk to Jack. He was in his neat office, his face solemn as usual. Jack sat at his desk, looking down, his eyes glued on a paper. Braison did not greet him at all when she hurried into his office. Instead, she remained silent and shoved the paper in Jack's face. Jack sluggishly grabbed the paper, and stared at it for a while. Finally, he spoke:

"What is this?"

"I found this in Slender Forest," Braison replied. "Have you ever heard of this missing boy? Charlie Matheson Jr.?"

Jack gave her a glare, asking, "What does this have to do with the case?"

"Well, Charlie Matheson Jr. is part of a famous case. He was a missing boy," Braison explained, as Jack turned his head away from her. "I read on the Internet that some people believe he is The Slender Man."

Before Jack could speak any further, the Technical Analyst stepped inside. She told Jack and Braison that maybe she could do some research on Charlie Matheson Jr. Jack shook his head, blabbering on about how the Technical Analyst should be leaving.

"Oh, come on! It's not that hard to find information on this kid," the Technical Analyst assured Jack. "In fact, I can find information on anyone I want to!" She led Braison into her room, which was filled with all kinds of computers and technology. Jack just had to follow them. The Technical Analyst began tapping her fingers on her keyboard rapidly, and Braison Hacheen popped up on the screen with a bunch of words.

"See? I can even find information on you," the Technical Analyst said, smiling brightly at Braison. "You're clean! Haven't killed a single person. Wow. Impressive."

Jack was growing impatient. "Look, we don't have time for this. You might as well just search information on Charlie Massison Jr. Okay?"

"It's Charlie Matheson Jr.," the Technical Analyst and Braison corrected him in unison. Jack immediately rolled his eyes.

"Let's see...Charlie Matheson Jr. was a missing boy. There's not much information on him...the case of this young boy turned cold because no one could find out what happened to him," the Technical Analyst read aloud, as she stared at the screen of her computer. "It's speculated that Charlie Matheson Jr. was abducted by an unreal creature named Slender Man...or someone else."

"Slender Man is real!!" Braison insisted, marching up to the computer.

"No, he's not. He's just a German legend, known as Der Grobmann in Germany,"  the Technical Analyst informed Braison, as Jack started to ponder. "According to the legend, Der Grobmann was said to snatch away kids who disobeyed their parents. When he died, his spirit must've survived, and he continued to prey on people. Mostly kids, though."

"Can we hear more about Charlie Matheson Jr.?" Jack grumbled in a flat voice. The Technical Analyst nodded sheepishly.

"Charlie Matheson Jr.'s father was a misanthropist.  He hated society and got angry at people often. In life, he just couldn't behave properly," the Technical Analyst went on, clicking on an image of a grainy letter on her computer. "This letter really proves it. He says, 'This world is nothing but noise now! And I can't understand any of it!'. Ooh, hear this; 'No one cares about my game. I'm alone in this foresaken nightmare!'. Sounds like a scary guy."

"Well, it certainly looks like Charlie Matheson Jr. followed into his footsteps. It says he was a loner and most likely an introvert," Braison murmured, reading the information. "He was probably neglected by his parents and ran away, into the woods."

That was when Braison's eyes widened. Slender Man just have had to abduct Charlie. Who else could it be? It was all so obvious to Braison, and the truth was beginning to come clear. She staggered away from the computer, breathless. He has to be The Slender Man she thought shortly after. Maybe Joe and Libby might want to help me find him, so maybe I could...defeat him.

"Hey, I've got to go," Braison told Jack and the Technical Analyst, walking towards the door and turning the door knob. You could tell by his furrowed brow, Jack was displeased. He let Braison go though. In a second, Braison was already out of the building. She began scurrying until she reached the Slender Forest.

I could do this! I could actually stop him Braison thought excitedly. I just need a lot of evidence, strength, and courage. At that very moment, Braison ambled into the woods.
