Chapter 12

The Next Day 

Bella's POV 

I took a shower and got dressed for school. Its my second day! And now I get to go back with Owen. I'm sooo happy everything Is back to normal. I don't know what I would do without him. I walked over to Owens room and knocked on the door. "Its Open!" Owen said. I opened the door and seen Owen grabbing his backpack. "Yay your ready! I cant wait to go to school with you!" I said jumping up and down. "We have like one class together Bella!" He said walking out of his room and down the stairs. "So! We can still see each other in the halls! And at lunch!" We went into the kitchen. Griffin was cooking with my dad. They were making eggs. I sat down with Owen. We ate breakfast and went to school. 

Me and Owen were walking in to school and I seen Ryan and Mike talking in the hallway. "Oh my gosh there he is!" I said as I stopped. Owen turned to me. "Bella you see him all the time what's diffrent now?" "Hes so cute... I don't want to mess things up." Owen then grabs my hand. He pulls me over to the group. "Hey guys!" Owen says all cheery. I don't say anything. I just look down. I was so nervous. Then Owen grabs my hand and pulls me to the side. "Bella are you kidding me! Your gonna let some guy make you not talk to your friends?!?!" Owen basically screamed in the hallway. Everyone was looking at us. "Owen please keep quiet. Your yelling. I don't want people to think somethings wrong..." I said whispering to Owen. "No Bella! Something is wrong! Your being scared cause of a boy! You are literally so beautiful and so amazing! I don't know why you would let any guy get in the way of that!" Owen yelled. A tear rolled down my face. Owen was mad at me. And he was also doing this in front of everyone. People were recording and all watching us like we were some reality show. "Don't say anything then!" Owen yells as he walks away. I try and reach to grab his arm but he pushes me away. He stops away through the halls. After that tears kept pouring down my face. I didn't know what to do. I just got him back and now he's gone. 

I dropped to the ground in tears. Ryan comes running over to me. "Hey... I'm sorry this is all going on... I feel like its my fault... should I go talk to him?" Ryan said pulling me into a hug. "No its ok... its not your fault its mine. I keep putting Owen in a position where he feels like he needs to protect me when I don't need protecting." Ryan helps me up. He wipes the tears off my face. He holds his hand out for me to hold it. I take his hand and hold it. " I'm here for you Bella and I always will be!" Ryan said smiling at me. "Thanks Ryan! That means a lot to me!" 

We went to our first class together. Then the next. Then the next. The next thing I knew it was lunch. Ryan came and picked me up from my class. We walked to lunch together. I sat at our table with Ryan. When Owen walked into the lunchroom. Everyone went quiet. They were all looking at Owen. I could tell he wanted to sit with his friends. But it was hard cause he wanted to stay away from me. I get up. Everyone takes out there phones and are recording. I walk up to Owen "Hey you can sit with everyone I will go somewhere else." Before he could say anything I run out of the lunch room. 

I go to the nearest bathroom and sit on the ground crying. I felt so alone. I then herd clicking noises of a camera. I looked up to see 3 girls taking pictures and videos of me. I stood up. "You now what, take your pictures and videos! What are they gonna do? Show everyone how I messed up! Perfect princess Bella messed up! Little do you know I always mess up! You know what? Take the popularity! I don't want it!" I pushed them out of my way as I walked out of the room. I ran out of the school. I sat at the back of the school. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't go back in there. I could just sit out here and skip till the end of the day. 

I herd the bell ring.  Class was starting. It was my class with Owen. I then herd my phone ring. I looked at it and it was a text from Owen. 

Owen

Hey I left school. Sorry for making a big deal about it. I love you but I think we need a break from each other. 

Tears came pouring down my face. Why do I have to keep messing up. Why cant I just be the perfect girl everyone wants of me. Ugghh. I then look up and see Rose standing there. "Bella? Why are you out here?" I was also confused why she was out here. "I could ask the same thing?" "Oh my are you crying?" She sits down next to me. "I'm sorry I've been such a jerk to you and Owen. Its just you guys are perfect. You guys have all the friends and popularity at school and get all the attention then when were at home you get the same. Everyone loves you guys! I just feel like I'm nothing. So I started to hate you guys and start to do not so nice things to you guys. And I'm very sorry!" I looked over and seen tears falling down her face. I pulled her into a hug. "I forgive you! But could I have my cousin ive always wanted?" "Deal!" She pulls me into a hug. I had never had a hug from her. She gave really good hugs. 

I then herd my phone ringing. I looked at it and Griffin was calling. "You should probably take that...." Rose said looking at my phone. I then answered the phone. "Where in the world are you!!????" I herd Griffin say all worried.  "Calm down Griffin I'm at school" I say. "Well your not in class so either I'm driving to your school and getting you or your getting your butt back to class! Who are you with???" I look over at rose. "Uhh Rose?" I didn't hear a response from Griffin. It was like he was confused. "I'm on my way" He then hung up.
